  1. I am so glad I created this post! :D A very big and special thanks must go to Paradox for all your research and investigation. I would prefer a face lifted diecast model to match my pride and joy but those RunX minitures from eBay that Miss Hdache found look cool as well (especially in black!) :P Hopefully the J-Collection ones come through! :D
  2. Well since my Sportivo is due for a high end wax and polish I was just curious to see what car detailing products other Sportivo or Toyota owners use to make their pride and joy look like showroom condition.
  3. As per the latest Corolla ad with the little kid playing and zooming around with the face lifted diecast model car. I have tried looking up ebay and have done a google search yet cant find the current shape Corolla. If anyone has these for sale or knows where to get them from, it would be great to pass on any info or details :) Cheers
  4. I thought those acid wheel cleaners would be harmful to the alloys paint work???
  5. sorry to sound so dumb guys but what does CES actually stand for?
  6. Hi Guys, Can anyone recommend any particular method or product to help remove stubborn dirt and staines from your factory Sportivo rims? Ive tried a soft toothbrush and mild soap/detergent yet no decent results Any suggestions would be great! Cheers :)
  7. Guys I have rang up at least 5 different Toyota dealers in Sydney and these are my findings:- - 2005 Corolla Sportivo Front Spoiler lip is already painted and colour coded - Cost $1170.40 - Specifially imported for South African manufactured vehicles - PART # 0815412841C1 - Notice the C1 at the end of the part number...this determines the colour of the front spoiler lip. In this case, C1 is the code for BLACK Hope the above helps! :)
  8. hey romp, if you have the price list with pics in electronic form, are you able to post it into this thread so i can check it out as i would very interested to see it. thanks heaps mate. cheers :)
  9. yer same diff pretty sure same price ← Unfortunately not mate. When you are after cosmetic parts being the front end of the face lifted Sportivo its an entirely different ball game. I am trying to get my hands on a face lifted front spoiler lip yet all the quotes I have received are over $1,000 from Toyota Sydney spare part dealers. So no, nowhere near are the facelifted body kit prices the same as pre face lifted.
  10. Thanks for your info Romp however I need parts and accessories for a face lifted '05 Stivo
  11. Hi Guys, Was just wondering if anyone can recommend the best and most competitive priced Toyota dealer spare parts branch in Sydney ? If anyone has any contacts it would most certainally help me out :D Cheers :)
  12. Hi Guys, Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question but I just wanted to make sure my knowledge is correct. Ive noticed over the past 2 days that there has been a small puddle of water on my garage floor coming from the underneath passenger side of the car. Im guessing its just the air conditioning Hope i'm right! Would it be the cause of something else? I doubt it though. Cheers
  13. Unfortunately the scratches are quite deep and are all over the place. Where would I be able to obtain touch up paint from? Do Toyota sell touch up paint kits?
  14. those part no's will sure come in handy but does anyone know of the part no's for the post-face lifted 2005 sportivo? cheers :D
  15. thanks for ur replies guys. im still unsure what to do. the scratching underneath the front lip is almost right in the middle of the front spoiler. whilst u r standing u can slightly see the scratched bits on the two separate sides of the lip. does anyone know which sydney dealers have this front lip for the 05 stivo? saves me ringing around! :P cheers
  16. Hi All, Today I misjudged a driveway and as I slowly exited onto the road I scrapped my new 05 front lip on the tarmac :( I am just totally devastated as the underneath of the lip is scratched in 2 separate places. :( Because I am so fastidious and a very fussy owner i'm thinking of getting a new 05 sportivo lip but then comes it's cost to first buy then paint. Would appreciate anyone's thoughts whether it's just me getting upset for no reason or if this is a common scratch pad on the stivo's ? If I was to buy a new lip does anyone know the best place to get one from?? Will Toyota paint this accessory?? Perhaps I should just leave it but then I will be too concious of it everytime I see it and clean the car. Any advice would certainally help. Cheers, Adrian
  17. Sounds great guys yet why dont we consider a meet up mid week like the QLD guys ?? Due to some of us not being able to make it on Saturday nights perhaps a Thursday night might be more suitable for some of us ???
  18. Hi Guys, Just wanting to know which tyre shine and wheel cleaner the majority of owners are using on their Corolla Sportivo wheels or similar ??? Any recommendations for a new Sportivo owner? :P Also, if anyone has some hints or tips cleaning the factory Sportivo rims with ease will be some handy info for alot of the Stivo owners too! :D
  19. First meet up for me too in my new Rolla Stivo :) Since this is all new to me, is anyone able to provide the correct address details of the meet up. Maybe even possibly post up a map from whereis.com?? I have been to Homebush heaps of times but I can never remember where all the parking stations are :P
  20. I know there has been a poll on this for the best fuel type but do you rekon BP Ultimate provides a major difference compared to Optimax?
  21. Holla! :D Count me in boys. Im from the south of Syd....near Hurstville so let's hope to try and get together soon with as many stivos as possible! :P
  22. Funny you guys mentioned this topic as this Pimp My Ride episode was shown last night on MTV. The paint job on this Rolla sedan is awesome, especially those racing stripes! Nothin can ever beat an overhaul @ West Coast Customs B)
  23. Hi Guys, Just wondered if anyone currently uses any kind of brushes to clean delicate interior components of their Stivo eg air con vents, dash, centre console etc etc. I know that there are special brushes specifically made for auto interiors but I dont want a brush that leaves scratch marks. If any has any recommendations on the best interior brushes, where to get them from or even what you use to clean the delicate interior of your Stivo. Cheers, :)
  24. Sorry to hear about your ordeal dude. Those wheels look hot though....what size/make/model are they? Cheers
