  1. Hi Guys,

Ive been trying to find the best procedure and way to clean my Sportivo leather seats but I cant quite get the

    expected results.

I have been using Meguiars Leather Foam and work fantastic upon the first initial giving an excellent shine coat.

However, after leaving the product to dry and soak in a little, once u sit on the seats the shine and product disappears.

It's like the foam hasn't even soaked in as it leaves a body shaped mark on the seats once you get off them.

Has anyone had this same problem or experienced this same issue?

If anyone can recommend a fix or work around for this that would be great.

    Cheers

  2. Hi guys,

I have noticed my drivers side electric window makes little squeeks when it re-tracks down.

Could it just be because there is a build up of dirt on the actual glass?

Im guessing its nothing to worry about but thought i might ask the question and see if any other Sportivo owners

have experienced the same thing and if there is a quick, cheap and easy fix available.

    Cheers

  4. Hi Guys,

Im looking at an option of getting a genuine Toyota Sat Nav system for my Sportivo.

I have looked a few previous posts but nothing mentions anything about it's price and value.

Does anyone know of this info and have it installed?

    Appreciate any feedback.

    Cheers

    :D

  5. Hi Guys,

I have searched high and low and looked at all related TRD CAI threads including the "read this before you post" thread but nothing seems to finish off the topic in providing full information for a clean and snug fit

    for a facelifted stivo.

All the threads mention taking out the foglight and not being able to put it back on or getting a smaller pod.

I just dont want to buy it and then have to hack into my engine bay to make unneccessary cuts, grinds and mods just so the TRD CAI fits!

  6. Hi Guys,

I might be interested in this group buy but I want to know if this is a simple and straight forward bolt on and hook up process?

Im from Kingsgrove and would prefer to pair up if possible.

    Cheers

  7. Hi Guys,

Just wanted to find out if this is a simple bolt on mod for an 05 Sportivo or do you have to tweak a few things

    for it fit?

I remember reading a thread a while back where a guy had a few issues in doing the TRD CAI install.

    Cheers

  8. Hi Guys,

I have an 05 Black Ink Sportivo and had to have my left rear door re-sprayed as I had some

d!ckhead close a gate on me without realising I was still in the driveway.

Anyway, after taking it to my usual spray painter it all looked fantastic and a 10/10 job

until recently where I had parked the car and glanced over with the sun shining on it and the back door looks like a darker, richer colour compared to the original front door.

    Is this normal?

Could it be because it is freshly painted and sprayed?

Could it be the metallic as I know the whole body colour shows off different colours in different light when looking from different angles.

I havent approached my spray painter yet as I thought it was maybe me.

Surely they cant get the colour code wrong!?!?! It looks fine otherwise.

Weird I know but I thought I might be able to get some feedback or info from those who have perhaps experienced the same thing or know a thing or two about spray painting and colour matching toyota factory paint.

I guess im one of those fussy owners who wants their pride and joy perrrrrfect :)

    Thanks in advance.

  9. vinyl is easy to remove. you can do it cold but it is better to warm it up either leave your car out in the sun for an hour or heat it up with a hairdryer. take your time with pulling it off as rushing it can catch too much and pull a patch of duco from your panel.

give it a polish and wax afterwards. if it is on glass then you can use metho to give it a good clean to clear away all glue residue. to clear glue residue from any painted panels use anything paint safe such as bug and tar remover.

so do u rekon just heat it up and try carefully lifting it to then remove?

    sounds too easy!
