That is true..we do have new cars....but the thing is it shouldn't have so many probs with it being a brand new car. As long as they will be fixed I will be happy. Not overall happy as yet. As the performance goes....VERY HAPPY!!!

I'm thinking about getting the eye lids but don't know where I can get them. Does anyone know? (In Sydney) Thanks

I get the pretty much the same probs as well. 1. Mine goes 500 - 550 km on a full tank. 2. There is a knocking sound under the bonnet when it is idling (sometimes) 3. There is also a vibration/ticking noise under the car (sounds like metal to metal) when idling. 4. Vibration in the dash. 5. Squeels when braking Does anyone have a prob with the LCD where the climate control panel is? When I turn the key to ACC, there are blotches of ink on the screen and then slowly fade away. Wondering if that is normal. I also have 1 problem which no one would prob have. There is a patch on the drivers side door where it looks like it has been resprayed. You can only see it in the sun as the metallic stands out and can see a circle patch. I spoke to my dealer and they said they don;t know why and I will have to take it to the service department for them to take pics of it. Don;t know what will happen.

Steve...the reason why it takes long to warm up is because of the oil that u use. It's prob thick oil. Try 10 - 40 oil.

Cool...guys!!! When are we gonna do this??? Can we do it on Wed, Thurs or Friday? Coz I only have those days off. If not .... then after 9PM other days. If no one make it on those days then I might have to take a day off work for a weekend cruise. So when can U guys make it?

Thanks AzZaMaTaZ I'm still waiting for Toyota to call me. I really wanna get rid of the rattles coz u can't hear the engine revving with the rattle...that's so annoying. Must be sweet for u now...hehe :)

Mad shiiit!!! The only problem guys....I work from Sunday to Tuesday....The only days I have off is Wed, Thurs or Friday. Would that be OK??? No problems mate!!! The Levin is a nice car .... I was going to get that car last year. Lucky I didn't, then I wouldn't be able to get the sportivo!!! :) When we gonna do this meet? I only have wed, thurs, friday off though so it's gonna be a bit hard for me to fit in with other peoples times.

How long does it take Toyota to order the gear selector cables for the rattling problem??? I have been waiting for 2 weeks now and still haven't had any word about it. Bunch of bludgers there at Toyota!!! For those of u who did get it changed.....how long was the wait?

Sportivos in Sydney wanna meet up for a cruise 1 day??? I was full on busy for the last few weeks and now that I have the time wanna meet up and chat about our little BEASTS or go on a cruise. Haven't been posting anything lately either so I don't know most of U guys. Anyone interested let me know. It'll be cool to see 10 - 20 Corollas cruising down the road. (The Corolla invasion!!!)

I can give reasons why you shouldn't buy a Sportivo.. 1. U grip the handle when sitting on passenger side going 50KM/Hr 2. If u never rev past 3 RPM 3. If u are a Sunday driver. Other than that BUY ONE!!! :)
