i downloaded znes last night... and a few roms... unirally was everything i ever remembered it to be, and i found my childhood PC game on snes - desert strike! and jungle strike! i spent months playing those 2 games...

know what i cant stand? friggen... when there are 2 lanes at a traffic light, and the left lane is a "turn left or go straight" lane, and the straight ahead light is red, but the turn left is green... and you're coming up to the clear lane about to turn left, and some loser sees that if he pulls out into the left hand lane, he can be at the front of the lights... so im sitting there waiting with a green arrow but i cant go...

i've been thinking of getting a set of them myself - if you get them let me know how it goes.. are there any cascade blue corollas with the black taillights out there? i'd like to see how they look...

what sort of rears are they? if they are 6.5" round speakers they will just fit in the doors (i think 6.5 fits in the rear)... if they are 6x9s, you could probably fit them in the hard part of the floating parcel shelf, but i've never tried... you might have to make some sort of MDF board to go under the parcel shelf to mount them on... if all else fails, and they are 6x9s, sell them and just run splits up front and a sub down back - way better! oh and with the spacers, you can buy a head unit set thing from toyota... its two double din sized spacers on each side, and a single din pocket... shop around for them, and try at your local strathfield or car audio install place, cos they would have a few and they are very cheap... toyota will rip you off (charged my $17 each for the spacers and $50 for othe pocket!!) alternatively, if you're in sydney and you cant find them cheap, ill sell you mine... i just pulled my aftermarket head unit out, and i have no need for my spacer set...

am i right in thinking i could just buy some thick ***** power cable (2 or 4ga) from jaycar and some of those thingos with the rings (i cant think of what theyre called now) and just make your own cables? that might be alot cheaper than a full kit... all your doing is placing some fat wire in the same line as the stock ground wire yes?

hey if anyone wants some of those spacers and the pocket, i have them and im not using them anymore (making my own bezel for my screen)... so if you want them ill sell them to you for $10 for the lot... i cant be bothered making a buy/sell thread, im not that desparate to sell...

if you can get your hands on the infra red codes for that dvd player (check out www.remotecentral.com), you can just buy a universal remote and program it... otherwise contact the manufacturer of the dvd player and they might be able to help you... is it a car dvd player or a home dvd player? a 0.8 cubic ft sub box is crazy small for a 12" sub, i'd go something a fair bit bigger if you want to get any sort of decent bass note out of it...

yeah i quite liked them, but they dont make enough of a difference or improvement for me to want a set... the corolla tailights look good as they are, why change them? unless you're going for a whole new set of lights, in which case you obviously really wanted different lights... i just want to tint my taillights... is that legal at all?
