And verry easy to install (make sure you read the instruction that come with it before u install them) took about 30 min working slowly and carefully. u need H7 for low beam.

does anyone have the original pics? the links seem to be dead now..... or does anyone have photos of them doing it on a preface? Im thinking about doing this mod to a spare set of headlights i have just sitting in my garage, however they are a bit faded (reason why i bought new ones) so im not sure how they will turn out. From what i can see they are faded mainly on the plastic lense and only a little bit on the chrome. Do u guys reckon it would be worth my time doing this mod? Not sure if they will be able to be cleaned up once i open them up?

thanks, but ive got a few arguements to that. - yes i know it would be sucking in 'hotter' air but it is compensated buy sucking in alot more air. - i know of multiple people that have seized there engine due to sucking in water from a CAI. and there has been a flooding here in brisbane lately and ive had to drive through water that would be deeper than where my CAI would sit. - ull want one as soon as u hear it and im pov at the moment and couldnt afford to get a CAI You could buy piping from autobarn or supercheap that goes from the end of your pod down to the bumper..... have seen it used quite a bit..... should channel cold air and keep water away. Kind of like the next best thing apart from getting a CAI i gues

Havn't even thought about that. I'll take a look. yeah i only noticed last night when i was driving and went to lock my doors (i once saw a drunk dude in surfers open up someones hatch at the lights so i try to stop it from happening to me lol) and i noticed it had a green backlight. This is only the case with non power window model corollas, power window corollas have their lock switch on the door with window switches

yes i do.. damn..lols..sounds dangerous xD maybe should scrap that idea.. Go with 35w they are more than adequate and dnt ***** too many people off....... my mate had 55w in his lancer and it melted the reflector bit that sits in front of the globe...... so 35w is best bet

Hey Rolla Boy u were right!!!!!!! i tightened up my cai and battery clamp, and it seems to have gone away! Must have been vibration caused at friction point of the clutch that caused a rattle with either. Thanks heaps for the help guys

Hi guys Did a bit of a search, couldnt really find anything much.... I have recently noticed that i can hear a knocking sound comming from the passenger side of my engine bay right at the friction point when the clutch engages. First of all, sounds like a clutch problem from the circumstanes am i right? And would the answer to fixing this be just to replace the clutch? (have noticed it getting weaker over the last 10,000kms or so) Car has done 111,000 KM with the standard clutch so would it prob be time to replace it? Also called up supercheap and they said standard replacement clutch is $195 and HD clutch (one level up from standard) is $395. These sound about right? Also about how much do you reckon installation would be? (like would $300 be a safe figure) Any help would be great :)

Sweet, sounds good. Yeah do you know who the member was that was doing that to their cluster? I might have a go at changing my cluster lights in the next few weeks.

Look forward to seeing it....... im keen on changing mine soon as well yep im planning on taking photos for interested 1zz owners aswell... already sussed out what needs to be un-screwed/removed, and it seems pretty straight forward... and that's coming from me who doesn't do very much DIY work at all perhaps the Moderators/Original Poster can re-title the thread to just `LED Console mod... Yes would be a good idea to have this renamed...... i also have a 1zz...... are you going to be changing the speedo (dash cluster) lights as well?

Hey Guys..... spotted this.......AGES AGO but found pics of it it lookin through my computer just now. Took these dodgey fotos on my camera fone at the 2006 gold coast autosalon (trust me this was the best camera phone at the time lol) The car is a facelift rolla with full tan retrim and custom boot install with roulette table. QLD plates that said HI ROLA. Got any clue where this car is at now?
