HI ROLLA

Once i got the new muffler and tip i got 5% more power. Wasn't loud enough tho. After i got the piping from cat to muffler i gained around 1% more. I do realize I could have gone 2.5" and gained roughly another 4% (on top of the initial 5%) but it's not a racecar...its a headturner and all good headturners need an over-the-top exhaust. That's my 2 cents anyway :) -Azza what kind of corolla do you have though????

Yeah sportivos are close to 2.25inch but 1zz's are smaller. My mate has a 2.25inch cat back on his 1zz and reckons its the business, and from what i read here, 2.5inch is a bit big for a 1zz without doin the whole system with extractors. BKS exhaust u reckon hey? ill have a look into them i think i remember reading somewhere on here that the 1zz exhaust is only 1.75" :o but yeah, if you are looking for a good exhaust upgrade, i say go with a 2.25" catback on your 1zz :D i will be ;) i just wish i didnt have to wait :( Tell us how it goes Evo Sure will evo...... car is getting serviced end of the week so my cash is going toward that at the moment........ in the upcomming weeks we will see if my bank account is in the cat backs favour :P

Me? well just spoke to exotic exhausts which the_random_hero works at...... bloke said im looking at $280 for 2.25" cat back with resinator and muffler, then $60 to $160 depending on the tip. Sounds like a sweet deal to me :)

nah ur right evo, was about to say the same thing! i somehow dont think he has a late model rolla coz there is no way you would want a 3" catback on one of our rolla's

yeah the splits go pretty good hey....... deffinately bang for buck, cost me $120 brand new from jaycar. I dont have an amp running them, im just running them off my head unit and they dont distort with the head unit at maximum volume so yeah, they go pretty good.

Yeah definateley not goin in puddles or anything too deep, just a bit uncertain of the spray / splash that could get the pod. Azza - Haven't really noticed stones or anything scratching the skirts or anything so far, only had the wheels on the car for about 5 days, no tell tale signes of that yet. And yes stock shocks, rides as smooth as stock height on good roads, only notice a bit bumby on dodgey surfaced roads

Nice MR2 you got there..... My mates got one just like it, just had it fully resprayed and new body kit as well not too long ago. Attatched pics below (Soz they kind of dodgey, taken with my old crappy camera, looks heaps better in person!):

yeah clips at the top and then the plastic should fit in nicely behind the lip of the bumper. You should be able to tuck the plastic back behind the lip of the bumper by the look of it.

do you guys know if this shifter would fit a 2002 ascent 1zzfe 5 speed????? are 5 speed and 6 speed the same???

There is a really good priced and good quality tint guy that i have been using.......... He is located on the gold coast on the gold coast highway in mermaid...... does 3M 5%, 20% or 35% for $200 with lifetime warranty....... i have had 4 cars tinted with this guy and he is quality. You can contact him on 1800 446 060 which goes to his mobile. Just tell him you know someone that got their car tinted off him for $200 and he should be able to give you that price.

STYLSH is right. u dont want to be clipping, as thats what does the damage. higher rms amp than the sub is the way to go.
