I thoughts 05 stivos were all ok in regards to clutch issue. Since i got mine i havnt had a problem with shifting at all.

I was just doing a under bonnet inspection today and noticed that the coolant level is not very high. Where it is marked low the coolant sits probabaly 5-7cm above.The high marker is way higer up. Im quite worried now. Is that right, i never took notice of it before. Time for a top up???

Yeah i think its all in my head, i was starting to find it impractical to leave it in the centre of the boot. Guess ill be movn it to the side of the boot for extra space.

Im just wondering where most people place there subs in the boot. Because it is heavy, will it affect the handling of the car. I have mine in the middle of the boot, due to being worried it will upset the balance of the car. Or is it fine to place it on the side of the boot?????

Even though i have a 2ZZGE. You must admit the hondas engines are better overall, (flame suit on) at least they land in vtec on each shift unlike our gay gear boxes. Well only the 1-2 change needs a slip on the clutch, every other change is fine. But our cars are more comfortable to live with everyday, practicality i guess with 4 doors and all. There are a hell of alot of honda's these days which are sleepers, running B18C7, boosted and hybrid B20 bottom end with B16 top. All my friends have hondas and you will be suprised what some of them run. My mate has an EG civic with B18C7 mild mods, easily running a 14.6 at WSID street trim and crappy tyres. I still love my toyota though........

Thats worrying news there blue stivo :o :o :o . I have had no problems with mine to date. Fingers crossed. But i dont track the car, just street use. I saw you have a cusco front strut bar, very nice looking. Would you mind if i ask where you bought it from??

Going down into 2nd from 90 is quite harsh, at least rev match the car so you dont get a sudden *****. Cant be too good for the car in the long run. Having the stivo for quite a while, it does sometimes feel impractical. Having to rev so much to get moving, everyone thinks you are a hoon. More torque would have been more practical for everyday driving. But being able to rev it up is a perk that you dont experienece on every car.

yeah the guy is paying for it. I was wondering if its a genuine bumper there is no painting required, as factory part it should be painted right colour.

Was driving home from the city last night when someone infront decided to stop hard. I wasnt follwoing close, i stopped in time but the car behind me hit me. The rear bumper is cracked and lukiy no damage else where, was a slight tap. How much would i be looking to pay for a new rear bumper painted and fitted.

Coilovers are nice, but wait till the rattles begin in your cabin :P :P :P . I have quite a few, but just turn the music up. I though u run the coils harder in the front, im running 8 front and 6 rear. But mine are only 24way. I had 18 front and 12 rear from factory. Handling was awesome but it was hella bumpy, u learn to dodge every pothole on the road, becomes instinct. :P . Our so called sport seats are the major let down i noticed now, you can corner faster but your ***** slides all over the place.

My bro had a SP23 before he wrote it off. The SP23 has the better engine and nice little extras. But if your bro wants a auto just get a Maxx Sport. The 2.0litre is actually quite a good engine, revs nicely. I doubt you can get an auto SP23 for 22K so just opt for the Maxx Sport. 3s are very nice cars n build quality is excellent

Just curious, as the stivo has been around for a while now. So alot of time for people to learn to land 1-2 LIFT. How many still find it hard to do?? As everytime you dont do it your giving the stivo a bad rep I can do it the majority of the time, but i just give some throtle during the change. I crunch it if i rush myself, so painful :o :o

blue stivo did u say drop OUCH for the clutch, or u ride it out. Im hesitant to do this as i have seen many bunny hop there way :P :P :P . Dropping the clutch is the only way

Wheres the perch lock for the D2s, or is it a differnet design now?? Has anyone looked into K sport coilovers there also look the same as G4 and D2.

This is how mine was installed. My installer measuerd the stock strut, and followed accordingly to the sway bar link should be. Also how do we adjust height, i read the instructions and a little confused. Do we need to unbolt the lower control arm. Also to adjust the height im assuming you have to losen the sway bar link, to rotate the shock body.

Just a question, from the pics of ur install is that where the sway bar link is supposed to be. As mine are right underneath the spring perch. Also how tight did u adjust the spring perch. Like is the springs just tight enough or compressed???

You guys with the D2s i just have a quick question, can u adjust your rear damping easily. As when you install them, there is a metal peice blocking me from inserting my hex tool in properly, like only 1cm difference. So i have instead used pliers to adjust the rears which is quite annoying. Im going to cut my hex tool top so i can insert and adjust the rears more easily. thnx in advance

Just letting everyone know that you can get D2s off ebay for our cars for $1200. Im assumming they fit even thought they say its for altis. My G4s are for the altis as well so yeah....should fit D2s

Damn why did i get out of this, now im jealous. If any one doesnt want there wing tips i gladly buy it off you. :P :P :P
