  1. yeah 3000-4000rpm for daily driving, any lower car doesnt feel right. Plus i find that the gears are smoother to go in at those revs then say 2500rpm.
  2. spotted a black facelifted stivo at liverpool westfields carpark last week, it had a aftermarket rear bar with dual exhuasts and chromies. Wonder who own this, looks good but needed to be lowered.
  3. OOOOO i like ur short shifter looks kool. Our stock ones are really long, was it easy to install???
  4. I pulled my gtech out, which I havnt used for a while. I tried doing some runs on a closed road. My 1st run I did was a 7.23. 4000rpm launch with some wheelspin but perfect shifts. Considering when i first got my car i got a 7.99 and couldnt land in lift I am happy. My 2nd attempt was wrong as I did a 6.53 :P :P . No way hahaha, even im not that optimistic. I think getting coilovers have helped in the luanching department to some degree. I want to get a cusco front strut, maybe will help settle the front abit on launches.
  5. Yes I find the same thing as well. Also if you give more revs say 4000rpm instead of 3000rpm its easier and smoother to engage gears.
  6. Its normal, you dont have to worry about anything. Give it some time and you will get used to it. To get into reverse i put it into gear 2 then Reverse. Always works.
  7. mmmm thats looks good and nice price. Wonder how much it would be to ship here. Nice and blue. I think there was a group buy on this before.

    DAMN :o :o :o LOW RIDER. Watch out u might run over the dog :P :P :P
  9. Thnx northy, i was worried about that. I read in one of the older posts that the shift was ofr the corolla altis, and blue stivo said they only have the 1zz there. Well ive decided on what i want now, AEM. :P :P Cant wait
  10. Mate those damn civics man ..... way to light for my liking .... lol ..... however i dont think u have anything to worry about .... put all its interior in .... run the tires at proper pressure and they wont get anything as close as the times you mentioned above ;) ;) ;) ;) Makes me more confident. But not for my freinds yellow EG civic, which ran the 14.2. He ran street trim subs and all and got 14.6 damn. <_< But like you said a light body to begin with helps
  11. This will technically be my 1st meet at villawood. I came and bought denniszze122 stock stivo wheels before but didnt get a chance to say hi. Well i hope everyone will be nice to a newcomer Badboyz i cant wait to get a CAI haha
  12. Yeah my mates EK only had his drivers seat. He took out his spare tire, jacks, rear and passenegr seats. His coilovers were set on hardest for rear and softest for front. Tire pressure was also 15psi. This is what got him his time. I guess prepping the car correctly pays off. Im waiting to see your time. Good luck. Im hoping to get at least a low to mid 15s for my 1st time. Fingers crossed.
  13. I went to the drags on wednesday night with my honda friends. I must say Im impressed. My mate with a stock B16A EK4 besides custom intake and stripped interior got a best time of 14.7. I was so shocked and impressed. That is alot faster than most stivos here, DAMN . My other mate with his EG civic with B18C7 got a best of 14.2 and is still to improve, aiming to dip into the high 13s. Im gonna be goin down soon with my car and feeling uneasy. The hondas are damn quick and im afraid
  14. I see alot of 1zz have the shift performance CAI and have positive feedback. But owners with 2zz can you please comment on your experiences with this CAI. Im just worried due to the shift CAI being 60mm in diamter compared to 70mm of the other brands AEM TRD INJEN. I dont want to go backwards in performance and waste money.
  15. I was about to create a new topic, but i guess i might as well ask here. Ive noticed many 1zz owners have the shift CAI. I want to know feedback from people with 2zz who have this CAI, do you give the same positive feedback as 1zz owners. As im aware that the shift CAI is only 60mm compared to the 70mm diamter of the other brands. Im looking for a CAI atm, and leaning towards the shift CAI as i can get it locally. If i can source a TRD INJEN AEM CAi at a good price i would consider getting them instead. Any help appreciated.
  16. How much did you get your intakes for if you dont mind me asking. Also did you get it from TRD sales
  17. WOW very nice mind me asking what rims they are. Suit the car bueatifully :o :o :o
  18. Try to find some shorter screws as that is what i did. I took my type R pedals off only after a week. I found that i couldnt apply full throtle to the car anymore as the screws touch when the gas is fully depressed. But they did help for heel and toeing but ive got kung fu feet now :D :D and can heel and toe with the stock pedals
  19. Thnx for the info saiya. I cant justify paying 150-180 for the C-ONE eyelids, even though they look the goods. In a few weeks im gonna get a set of headlight protectors, and paint some eyelids on. U mind me askn did you get them from toyota or aftermarket????
  20. Im just wondering does toyota sell these for the facelift. As i want to get them and spray some cheap eyelids on plus have the extra protection for my headlights. Silvabullit has done something similar and they look very nice.
  21. I've seen ur previous post on these.. did u end up getting any? Nah i didnt end up getting them cause they dont look that much diff from stock. Daz your in syd right, cause i think i always see your car in city when i go clubbing. I parked near u a couple of times, ur car is slammed low. I been thinking of puttn my car as low as yours, but find it impractical as i go slow enough over bumps already :P :P . I wish i got a white stivo nows ahaha
  22. I done some research on this a while ago and carmate maek some aprons have alook in the link hope it helps mate. aprons/rear pods
  23. Your using a 5 speed on a 2zz. I think a 6 speed is better with shorter gear ratios, not sure though. However like goodboyz said no comparison between N/A and turbo. I drive my cuzs modded wrx, and jump back into the stivo feels like a snail waiting for 6200rpm.....
  24. normal water or distilled water??
