i have the ascent, without the fog lights, so is it the actual fog light parts that interfere with it, or is it just the skirt where the fog lights are? so if i don't have fog lights, it'll fit fine?

wow is that how much the intake is in US? mite have to get one, but i guess the $90 delivery cost kinda dampens that fire

could it be that the TRD CAI is the most expensive and the best because it a specially tuned length developed by TRD? or is it all the filter?

i did a brief search for the intake tubes on ebay and came up with nothing... if anyone knows the address for it, please post it up... also lucio - hows the INJEN CAI coming along? installed? got pics?

feel free to disagree with me but it sounds like the BEST way to get a CAI is to get a custom mandrel bent pipe, and then get the best filter out there, from what everyone's saying im getting the feeling that the only difference between the CAIs is that it either comes with a TRD, AEM, or INJEN filter... so am i right by saying, when i pay $495 for a TRD CAI its $450 for the filter and $45 for the pipe?

yeh bruce jsut got back to me, apparently due to our exchange rate and price increases at TRD its now $495, but usually $600+ sooo injen, how does that rate against the TRD and the AEM? you know, just to complicate things further

yeh i have that rattling behind my cluster too! its really annoying, but it only happens sometimes, looks like im going to have to rip it all apart and put it all back together

yeh still undecided, but i think its AEM so far, simply coz its cheaper and its simple to install... but i think i'll need dyno figures to make my final decision...

hmm well hopefully by the end of all this we can all decide which is the best CAI and filter combo, can't wait...

it be cool to see some dyno results of the two systems... but i guess the louder sucking sound sells it! haha but then again, a blue pipe with a blue car would be good...

im thinking about getting a CAI, but the question is which one? i've done some searches on the forum, but no real clear answer exists, so i figured i'd just ask. So can anyone tell me which one is better in terms of cost, performance, installation, and looks. AEM claims to outperform TRD from what i've read, seems to be a bit more expensive, and comes in a few different colours. Not too sure about installation, can anyone give me a clear answer? thanks

i got pioneer 6" rears, and kicker 6" splits, i just took the plastic frame off, and made a custom frame out of wood to make it fit nicely
