  1. i had a similar problem it was the flasher relay unit where the driver side kick panel is. Near the throttle pedal is a removable kick panel. Had it replaced, no problems since
  2. i havent made or check the network but we did build this for GT5 It's a Logitech G25 with an independant shifter and paddle shifter. Also has clutch/brake/throttle set up. Racing seat is an out an AE86 with AE82 modified rails to suit. Must say, its a better seating position than it was previously on the couch lol
  3. Oh nice ... how was it??? Which Club was that through? It was with the Ozhonda group. Very good drive, highly recommended if you dont mind long twisty and scenic drives
  4. just been on the GOR cruise, awesome roads - prob wont make it to this run
  5. RE001s ftw. I have them and agree with wil_rolla 100%. Once warmed up they are very good, in the cold its not too bad. Very grippy none the less
  6. omg! front lip is the bomb Are you going to add a TRD rear spoiler and OEM skirts? Looks mad. I like. Your IS200 was featured in SPEED mag correct? Nice read
  7. go-karts at Phillip island meet somewhere in suburbia Melbourne and cruise to P.I, do the phillip island track, bbq, pics - cruise home. Only a suggestion lol
  8. Hi Peal I have a 1989 Corolla and had the alternator fail/seize/die on me. The alternator still worked but only charged to around 11volts (was replaced some time ago dont remember the exact reading). Made it hard to crank the engine over ect. Anyway if your daughter has the 4AFC carby engine, then replacing the alternator is a pretty straight forward jobs. Think there was 2 bolts, one to hold it in place on the mount and one to adjust the tension. It now charges to 14V. I paid $50 including postage for the alternator.
  9. spotted a white pre-facelift 'Stivo at the crown carpark complex yesterday or the other day. Green P plates, eyelids and grille from what i could see
  10. cheers! This is the only pic i could find after having tyres fitted and the tyre shine crap sprayed on Just an update, i have been to the carwash and scrubbed the wheels down with the brush and high-pressure hosed them down. No flaking or blemishes. This is without clear coat as well. So doublezero, if you go for the matt black just make sure the surface is well prepped and you shouldn't have any problems. Good luck!

  17. Story starts with me scoring a set of Tom's Racing wheels ( 15 x 7, + 35 offset, 6.9kg/wheel) and had them shipped over from Japan. They had minor blemishes all over the wheel which required sanding to get rid of them. So i thought hell, i'll just spray the centres (the spokes) as well like my current Volk wheels. Anyway heres the pic's that tells the story After 3 grades of sandpaper including wet and dry and sanding you will need these three items I polished the lip before masking 'cause i didnt want to get any of it on after painting her up 2nd layer of primer All of them with final coat Enter black 1st coat "Artistic shot" - note thats not my car, its Evoke's. Testing the Vision Motorsports lightweight lugs - 22 grams each. Finish painting.
  18. hey Alex are you gonna be at Dulux HQ @ 1ish departing at 1:10? Think me and Dave will be at the Springy carwash from 12 onwards. The Springvale carwash is at the intersection of Springvale and Heatherton roads for those interested. Alex, if your gonna be at Dulux, we'll try and meet you around 1. Got your no., so will keep you posted if you ever read this lol
  19. hi guys i've sprayed my VOLK racing wheels before and if you do it right, they turn out really well. Just don't use high performance wheel cleaners as they'll eat through clear coat/paint/primer. I just finished painting my Tom's Racing wheels yesterday and had tyres fitted today. Will get pictures as soon as i can
  20. Im in Having RE001s fitted on the Saturday, so relaxed paced cruising for me :( .... until the tyres wear in
  21. forgot about carwash, my bad! Im down for a monthly meet, same as japerd's ideas as well i guess
  22. I use bucket/mitten where i wash the car, and only use their water. come join us! I'll be there at 10:30. i am in clayton, there are like 3 places to wash nearby.. not sure if it worth driving there.. how come you are allowed to use bucket and mitten? they dont hv "now allowed" sign? Because it's at night, there normally not many people. I use to do it as well as my brothers ect. No one works there at night anyway. Alex, i'll see if i can come join you at 10:30pm.
