  1. how would they know its 5cm lower? they have a record of stock heights for every vehicle?
  2. thanks for the comments guys, car definitely needs wash. on the way home i realised that one projector somehow rotated abit :( strange since it was level before. im still using stock halogen bulbs and visibility is about the same as stock hey jeff sorry i don't have time to provide that service this one took me a few months to do lol. but after doing it, there are a few things i would've done differently, so i can give advice on that :) ill post pics of the process of retrofit soon :D pics this morning
  3. finally finished the headlights. now i need rain to test the seal
  4. looks good czaja. nice car too :D you should continue the theme and put projector foglights!
  5. Aw if only you posted up the sealant earlier, I just bought some sikaflex today. How much is the nissan sealant?
  6. it looks alright, looks like a very good fit. show us the rear skirt please :D
  7. are you serious?! damn it i want those hid projectors now lol the halogen projectors i got are ok... strange cutoff pattern but i got colour 4metres 7metres these projectors have a foreground limiter so it projects light down the road not in front of the car (thats for foglights) where you can't see it from the drivers seat. the passenger side is aim too far to the right and thank god i used the rotational mounting method, definately needed that. yeah i wish i got 2.5inch projectors it would have saved a lot of time from butchering my shrouds :( hey brad as requested :D but might go hid projectors after all
  8. i'd love to get hid projectors but its mainly the costs involved. the cost of HID projectors (uses D1S or D2S bulbs) are not bad but the oem hid bulbs and ballasts are $400+. i've got cheap H7 halogen projectors so its plug n play with the corolla and if i want hid i'll buy an ebay hid h7 pnp kit for like $100. cheers :)
  9. cheers mate :D, ill post pics on how it was done which is pretty much the same as how czaja did it. i received the shrouds. test fitting, a lot of cutting has been done since then
  10. lol hey your car is making me spend more money! haha nice to have met you jeff :)
  11. someone has used them on their corolla here http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...showtopic=21221 sounds promising
  12. what projectors do you have on? my projectors are 3inch lenses and they are massive. i think 2.5" projectors would be best
  13. wow didn't realize you uploaded more pics. can you see the range of colours at the cutoff when looking at the car at certain angles like the bmws? thats my favourite bit :)
  14. Yeah, Topstage aren't giving you guys a deal at all. I contacted them end of last year (when AUD was heaps worse), and the cost at that time was (wait for it), $80 for front or rear eyelids! That's a saving of $0? And then they have the nerve to charge you $27 each for postage of flat light pieces of ABS resin plastic... I've EXPRESS posted 2 turbochargers next day delivery for that same amount before! Gav. i don't think its express post either
  15. thanks jeremy, i just hope things go smoothly, its very time consuming :) .
  16. started the retrofit project. the projector's output and cutoff are a bit disappointing but continued anyway. shrouds are on their way but they are gonna be a bitch to fit in these lights. there isn't much room in there since i have to accommodate for projector aiming. here's what they look like without shrouds
  17. spotted a sportivo same colour as and1, lowered and exhaust on vahland. a member here?
  18. looks more like a trd grill
  19. r.i.p unfortunate that the news isn't having much air time with mj's death
  20. in my corolla, i had to turn the key all the way to "start" to be able to use the shift lock button... maybe a security thing i dunno
  21. looking good mate and i agree you should do the black headlight mod and revert back to stock taillights. but im interested in how the custom foglights go also check out maximas's rolla thread
  22. This is what i used. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/2-Super-Wide-Angle-...p3286.m20.l1116 Result can be seen here. The AC Dials are brighter then they look. I think the neons sh*t on them thats all. http://img10.imageshack.us/i/p1010048lwr.jpg/ are the leds bright enough to adequately light up the whole ac controls? Yep i'm very pleased!!! 10 well spent dollars. Cheers mate, I ve now pushed back and angled the LEDs and it looks better now

  24. for future reference, i bought these white leds for the 1zz clock and AC controls http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Xenon-White-HID-Ins...93%3A1|294%3A50 and installed... as you can see the light is not evenly distributed but its still visible (the lack of light at the periphery is not that bad in real life) but i want to change them with brighter ones so please post up what lights you used with links and a photo installed :)
  25. very good work and creativity and attention to detail - you even put some neg camber on the tarago! :D
