  3. haha nice work, i don't see anything wrong with it (i might be wrong), just a pain to replace that bulb.
  4. is it simply wiring the parker light wire to the third conductor of the dual filament bulb? probably have to drill a hole behind the empty socket to feed in the parker wire.
  5. Well done! Yeah you must the first to post it on the forum. Please write up a howto on it.
  6. very nice looking yaris! the racing stripes look good, did it come with the car? this would give AJ an idea on wat it will look like on his corolla
  7. any problems with the bonnet vent? great for ventilation but how about rain?
  8. dude amazing work. Is the car really that clean? :P
  9. i got some rims. But i think im just going to leave the rims silver for now. good choice, save it for a sound system or lowered suspension

  11. spotted a black yaris hatch with a vitz emblem at the front with chrome accents on the grill on hampden rd. a chick was driving it
  12. No it is not. Also you don't need heatproof paint for the headlights. Mine hasn't cracked and its been half a year. Easiest is to go out to auto store an buy a generic black. Matte or gloss, your choice :) thanks andy, the heatproof paint is self priming so i don't have do too much work on it. did you sand the chrome and primer it andy? nope..we just sprayed right over it..u`ll be fine.. cool thanks jeremy

  15. maybe send them a photo your stivo's rear bumper to confirm. i know there are two versions of the corolla rear bumper overseas
  16. hey guys i'm planning to do this mod and did some photoshoping of colour coded headlights, not the most accurate but its something different. im stilling deciding which colour but the white with be more harder to pull off the look. i hope the owner of the car doesnt mind
  17. sorry mate, cant help you there... btw how are the rims? do you have to clean them frequently? If you want to Powdercoat your rims white or get some white rims. Be prepared to carry a rag with you. Cos yes they are hard 2 keep clean. haha yeah thanks for the tip
  18. very nice. i reckon smoke those side indicators. what kind of roof spoiler is that? looks alittle different...
  19. sorry mate, cant help you there... btw how are the rims? do you have to clean them frequently?
  20. So tiet's lights have the plugs chopped off from the facelift wiring? Thats convenient :)
  21. to make the inner light both parker and brake light you need to use dual filament bulbs 21/5W, can the holder use dual filament bulbs? if not, then like what guni said, use a wire to hook up the dual bulb to the parkers.
  22. hi teit, the facelift taillights won't plug in to the pre-facelift because the plugs are different. the preface plug has 2 rows of pins whereas the facelift is a single row of pins. maybe you can use your prefacelift bulb holders and silicon glue to the facelift sockets... that way they plug straight in.
  23. I've got the Sportivo one on it atm. The other one is collecting dust hehe i'll say again, awesome pics and car. so clean, its giving me second thoughts on blackening my headlight jdm style haha. mines a white facelift. IMO, also depends what colour rims you go for as well. If light colour rim, keep it the way it is. If dark, go black headlights. I think the two compliment each other and give the car an overall balanced look. thats a good point. weren't you gonna put side mirror indicators? according to your garage
  24. nah, i was researching on doing the jdm headlight mod and saw the differences.
  25. I noticed that the headlights on the sportivo have a grey base behind the headlight whereas the 1zz corollas have a black base. also the reflective cap thing that covers the low beam bulbs are different i think. does anyone know if they perform differently too? edit: or could it be a SA and japan thing?
