  1. love your work! why did aus get ripped yet again and not get the heated seats in the presara!?!?!?!?
  2. I could make something like that up in stainless in about an hour, max. Want to pay me $1600 for it? Go ahead, I've got plenty of other things I can sell to you too... $400 CAI consisting of just two alloy bends, $800 "imported" cat-back system, etc. I'm not meaning to sound harsh, but sheesh - a LOT of your Aurion and Corolla boys are really, really dumb with your money. Ok agreed. 1600 is way too much for that particular part. But u cannot deny headers and full exhausts by the map tuning houses are worth the money - well maybe in my turbo world it does. If you think it's so easy make one... Jig it up and pump em out. There is a market for it as well as other parts. Instead of calling us dumb provide us with solutions to our problem of a lack of local aftermarket parts. Since your such a bean counter are you the kind to cut the stock springs or heat them up to shrink them as this would have the same effect as geting lowered springs?
  3. yeah it may be pricey but as always u get what u pay for!!! 1600 for something with plenty of R&D and engineered to suit. prolly cost another 1000 to land it in aus tho. or get something fabed up by some local shop with some exhaust experience?
  4. If I have to choose one from 'strut top bar + front and rear sway bars + lowering springs' AND 'coilovers', I would pick coilovers because lowering spring could give much more stress on factory suspension and they could be defected quicker and it would result replacing the whole suspensions again. Is what your saying applicable to daily drivers/street racers/track car? Would it reduce the body roll feeling in a daily driver? It is applicable to all. Yes it will and because the springs haven't been changed the ride will stay the same. I have replaced the rear swaybar and installed a strut brace on my TRD. Even on the TRD there was a hugh amount of rear roll during cornering which has be minimised with the RSB. The strut brace has made the steering feel more direct and accurate by reducing the flex in the front suspension towers. I am not denying of SupaTouring's point in suspension theory but the question is how many people on the public road would have serious body rolling or unpredictable/sudden weight shift? unless in situation of racing or any emergency cases. I've been pulled over by police because the police officer said I was making a very very quick turn at the intersection in the night time but I was turning at around 45KM in the 60KM zone, DUH?. To sum up, SupaTouring has pointed nicely on suspensions and swaybars, but I doubt all these are REALLY necessary in NORMAL driving conditions. I believe car manufacturers already have balanced all the car abilities on every subjects for driving so I wouldn't recommend any aftermarket parts UNLESS you want it. Cheers. exactly what i was eluding to... i'll just get coilovers if he bc ones get a good review
  5. I thought the higher the octane the less fuel goes in. Hence better fuel economy - better kilometerage.

  7. I reckon it would still suite. Why couldn't it be deemed a sports luxury like an AMG merc or the like? It's good to have the best of both worlds when you can
  8. hahaha sorry thats just too funny. do u reckon instead of getting a strut top bar + front and rear sway bars + lowering springs, u could get equal or better handling with just coilies? coz it would cost about the same fully installed.
  9. totally agree and what i have said previously. them is the hotness!!! saw a silver TRD and a white ZR6 on the drive to work today and im no liking the presara bodystyling
  10. haha if anyone finds a forum that has no shiet fights i'm gunna join it!!! is it really that hard to get along? tbh i dont look at any other sections of the forum other than the aurion coz we are so leet that we are above the rest of u (except the klugers and prados) nah dont really have the time to trawl. hate the stock TRD rims, love the 20's... they would look so nice on a white presara that i know hey. how much? i was upset that u were upset that u thought that u had the same rims as esexsix and u were not unique anymore... well im gonna copy you just to spite u. only jokers!
  11. There are alot of luxo lexus features in the presara. I think that's where the comparison is coming from. Presara = Poor mans Lexus Lexus = Poor mans BMW
  12. I'm gunna paint mine gloss black
  13. I was gonna say don't forget to get a wheel alignment.
  14. Or go the rubber grommets for the ardcore racer look.
  15. yes wingless ftw for sure, i would go perserra but its gotta have the sportivo body kit :) Get someone without a wing to do a bootswap maybe? I was going to get an aftermarket sportivo kit but will just get the lip kit from Thailand instead. All sticks need is to be dumped on 19/20s and it looks good. De-wing to be different.
  16. Wingless ftw! Or get a presara :P
  17. Well my Michelins lasted 48,000kms and that's with some reasonably hard driving. With normal driving, I would expect these tires to last anywhere in the 50,000 - 60,000kms range. Hah in that case I'll be getting rims in 2014. I've only done 9000kms. I'll get some rims next year then and paint the stock rims charcoal.
  18. That's hot! Tempe specials? I'll be getting either jet league lightning or fox fashion. Not a fan of the nankangs tho! I'll get rims when the stockies run out. How many k's have people got out of the michelins?
  19. Check out Tony Flood in Welshpool?
  20. Tbh I have never used the Aircon controls on the wheel. Don't even use the phone functions as have the touch screen. The audio controls however use alot.
