  1. id say pretty much spot on with a $150 per side, thats what mine cost roughly
  2. that ones been around for a while, thought it had already been posted here, never the less, its a testament
  3. At this stage i am just going to run with what has been mentioned, as it is a similar setup to what was run of the previous car. If the gear doesnt cut it then i will re-assess at that time, but thanks for the advice
  4. I will be running the stock ECU with most likely, just an Apexi SAFC and an AEM Wideband, along with bigger injectors and fuel pump The reason is the kit came up for sale at a really good price so i snapped it up, but yes because more predicatble and this kit was designed and tested on the 5s-fe. It is the Ripp Mods SDS setup. And cheers BKS ill check it out.
  5. So does no one know of any dyno tuners? What about closer to Melbourne? I will need a tune after this is installed :P
  6. Hey guys, i have just made a move to Albury on the NSW/VIC border, and was wondering if anyone knew of any good dyno tuners in the area(preferably someone good with Toyotas ie. Supras & MR2s)? I dont really wanna have to travel as far as Melbourne, but thats a last option. Thanks Trent
  7. most major mods are supposed to eg. wheels, lowering and exhaust
  8. then howcome so many people have them installed and drive them daily sean The Gen 3 Camry was designed with its stock front bumper on the sloped angle for a reason, that is one of the many reasons i dont like that kit, sticks out like a snow plow. But as for the airbags, consult an engineer...seriously do it, will save you heaps of cash for having to undo work that doesnt pass.
  9. very nice and elegant, great match for the car
  10. Mate i know you're on AUSCAM as well so here ya go...take a looksee http://auscam.org/forum/index.php?topic=152.0
  11. PM SupaTouring (Dave) he was selling one a while back and its worth asking if he still has it, brand new in a box from memory too, but ill warn you now they arent cheap
  12. How much u looking to spend, because isnt P&P worth like $700
  13. Yeah Poohbear is in Brisbane too, he hardly ever visits any forums anymore
  14. If you were on Camcrew there was a guy by the name of Nick aka Poohbear
  15. Definitely 70 Litres, look at the official brochure(right at the bottom on the left)
  16. Yup the battery and the Big 3 are a good start
  17. For one u dont need a cap...get a bigger battery, upgrade your earths to your battery, and at most upgrade the alternator, then consider a cap. As for deadening/rattles use dynamt wherever possible
  18. Once again Adam gets it right...ur a deadset freak. He might sound arrogant ppl, but he knows more about Camry's than many of us will ever know. :P
  19. As Shannon(Whip Cracker) mentioned earlier, Campbell from Townsville, had to lower compression, as he ran into issues at 7psi, im not exactly certain what those issues were...and the engine will be a 5s-gte wouldnt it?
  20. Just wondering if u've done any engine work already? Because 203Hp@6300rpms(as in your sig) is defintely not stock lol. And you certainly would need to lower compression if ur gunna throw 2 snails on there.
  21. There is plenty of support for the 1MZ, just not here in Aus...check out Solara Guy and Toyota Nation, u may be able to import some parts.
  22. Didnt you have plans of putting a Lexus 1UZFE into it and making it RWD? If so, what happened to those plans?
  23. Prices can vary between $550-$700 depending if genuine parts are used but mine was aroun that mark as well, theres no point in doing the timing belt then two months later the water pump goes, labour is the killer so u might as well hit it on the head all at once
