  3. Agreed. Just get the Toyota LLC, your wallet will thank you. V6 head gaskets are fairly expensive and time consuming to repair which is mainly caused by using green stuff. If you absolutley must use green coolant, get castrol anti freeze.
  4. Yuro, the weathersheilds are genuine slimline items, prob only available on overseas models and they actually hook in between the window rubber and the door frame. Fuel consumption is fairly reasonable, between 470 and 500 kms out of 55L. Parking problems? You saw the tree stump :P
  5. Honda are quite advanced in hydrogen fuel cells as well. They just released the FCX Clarity on a lease basis in the US I believe
  6. Found some better pics How it looked before I started modding it The inside is as red as the outside Getting muddy at Glasshouse After putting the 32's on
  7. Its a fun and slightly creepy experience playing around with toyota link. I was setting it up on an Aurion Presara for the first time at the dealership i work for, talking to the person (in the car mind you) in melbourne or adelaide (not sure where the call center is) and going through the setup procedure when she tells me that to confirm the connection with the vehicle, she will lock and unlock all the doors. Needless to say it was kinds creepy watching all the doors lock and unlock by themselves. Another car i worked on, I forgot to put into service mode before I removed the battery and once I plugged the battery the phone in the car started ringing and a voice asked me if everything was ok. Must have thought the car was being stolen or had a crash or something
  8. Here's my ride. Its a 1989 Toyota Surf 2.4TD 2 door. Current mods include: 32" Pirelli Scorpion A/T's 15x7 2" Spring lift. EFS Elite shockies front and rear, 50mm coil springs at the back, factory torsion bars at the front Testing flex at the Pig Pen, Landcruiser Park I have more pics somewhere with better quality, my camera sucks Enjoy
  9. Ford BA XR6 T Ford BF F6 Toyota Supra JZ80 Holden Camira JE Diahatsu Applause BMW 320i convertable Nissan X-trail T30 Nissan Pulsar N15 Toyota Corolla Sportivo Toyota Surf LN130 Im sure there's more, but i can't remember. The fastest out of those would be a toss up between the F6 and the Supra
  10. Ive worked with Toyota for 3 years and only bought my first one 6 months ago. Its an 89 model LN130 Hilux Surf 2.4 TD. Its been a bit of a problem child though but most of the major bugs have been ironed out. Great truck on and off road.
  11. Really? Is there any reason for this? Because the imported ones are a generation older than the ones we offically sold, and the HSD unit and batterys are different. And unless your good with japanese, the on screen display is pretty much useless. And don't bother asking a dealer for a conversion "kit". They don't exist.
  12. Toyota dealers will not touch imported prius. Apparently this instruction comes from TMCA.
