If Christine Nixon is correct in her interpretation of the law then that's another example of the law not fitting with common sense. However,Police officers (even high ranking ones) do not always have the correct view of the law and are not able to know what a court would rule on in any given case as Judges are the ones to give rulings on cases not police.

This one is not as new and nice looking as the many other rides members likely have on here but thought I'd share a pic of mine anyways. Car was free as a friend had to move far away for a new job and it had 144,000 Km's on it when I got it,10,000 Km's done in approx one year since I've had it,have installed a decent kenwood CD player and speakers,fitted the 15" ultima wheels to replace the standard 14"s and have another much cleaner 88 white camry to use for panels when I fix the body up. Runs very well,have replaced the timing belt recently and plan to lower the car from standard height.

QPS use an extensive range of cars from the regular (and obvious) Ford and Holden unmarkeds -Traffic seem to prefer SS's in that type to current VE Maloo ute,Hummers,Honda Accords,Aurion (all-spec),Mitsy 380's and also there are a few confirmed 08 Mistubishi Lancers being used for unmarked duties.

Agreed about the red though that is the idea. They are meant to be a highly visible presence on the roads. B) Here's the old style (hardly ever seen now) decals on an Aurion :)

This thread is timely for me as I have just purchased some 15" 'Ultima' alloy rims and going to fit tyres soon,my SV21 has the standard 14" rims and I was wondering the same thing. The thing about factory spec issued items such as this did cross my mind but I was going to go and see a speedo guy I know in Albion (QLD) to check anyways. Thanks for the info.... :D

A long-time friend of mine organised for me to be able to get a combination I'd be hoping for in the standard issue plates for some time. He was able to find the customer service centre where that combination was going to be issued from and spoke with the management there and they held it aside for me and I drove a (long-ish) drive to pick them up. B) Got them attached to my vehicle and then customised them,next step is to have them personalised and then get a version that has no diamond between the letters and it's all done... ;)

I too have a SV21 and want to put some rear speakers in..... Does anyone know if 6" round speakers would fit??
