  1. quite a bit of anger built up there O_o... on a side note - i got my CAI installed the other day from Gun Performance - it was a custom pipe job so im not quite sure how it compares to the TRD, Injen, CES one but im pretty impressed with it... sounds normal for normal driving but when you give it sum it sounds pretty sweet. price was relatively cheap so im happy with it overall.
  2. yeah it was a black one. black? if so i would say thats Lance.
  3. facelift stivo down logan road - had Corolla GT badge and some mini-TRD stickers on it and stubby antenna... very nice car.
  4. is it too late to get be in for a set of these?
  5. map81 - spotted at garden city ninja-ing a carpark this afternoon ^^
  6. evl_50a - how much did it cost for your cai? it so happens that my left fog light is broken after a rock went through the lamp.... so it could be tempting to get a cai rather than get the fog lamp replaced O_o
  7. i used "Mother's Scratch Remover" when i debadged my corolla and it got rid of the marks so now you can't see that there used to be a badge there... very nice and clean.
  8. petrol - caltex vortex fillup - 47.41L distance - 630.40kms economy - 7.52L/100kms usage - highway driving lift usage - daily
  9. 10th December seems to be the date set for the Dyno day at Wilston.
  10. oops sorry... i usually just look in the corolla section... Sounds good - I may be interested... (Shouldn't this be in the meets and events section) ←
  11. The Oz Mazda Club boys are thinking about having a dyno day in the near future for brisbane/gold coast people. i suggested having some of us come to it as well to make it a bit of a day with some rollas and mazdas... what do you all reckon? http://www.ozmazdaclub.com/forums/showthread.php?p=132692
  12. 9am - black stivo - Springwood McDonald's carpark. Debadge with rear skirt.
  13. Black levin (pre-face lift i think) spotted on Logan Road near M1 on ramp. Had TRD stickers... plates ***- IFW i think.
  14. Took the car bar this afternoon and showed them. They said they would repair it for me when I next brought the car in (apparantly they need to a order a new shock absorber from japan as the rear left is leaking). I asked if it would come up like new to which they said it would. They would require the car for 2 days so the paint would dry and would loan me a car during that time. So we'll see what happens in a couple of weeks time...
  15. I guess the reason that I didn't do it is because there is damage that has been touched up with by them. (There is a couple of scratches on the bumper which have had a touchup pen run over it and there is a chip in the panel which also has had touchup pen run over it.) My standing is that if it was myself that had done the damage and touched it up, why is no touch up on the various little stone chips and scratches on the rest of the car? I've tried calling them a few times but have been transferred more times than a Telco. Apparantly the service manager is going to call me back O_o
  16. Hi All, Got my car serviced yesterday for the 10,000km service. It ended up costing me $153.35 which isn't too bad I guess. They didn't wash the car like they normally did and I thought it was a bit strange but I was going to wash it again anyway so it didn't matter. I found when I was drying the car that they had actually scrapped some of my rear right bumper and also a little bit of the panel near the headlight. This wasn't there before the service and what confirms that they did it is that they tried to touch it up so that I wouldn't notice the damage. Anyone else had this experience after getting your car serviced and if so, what did you do? I'm going to call them up later today to have a "chat" about my service.
  17. Might be the Toyota TS01 that he is refering to... it's a supercharged Camry. http://carsguide.news.com.au/news/story_pa...5E21822,00.html
  18. Which state do you live in and suburb? $27500, sounds very good for the sportivo. How did you guys managed to haggle the price down? Tips n tricks people? ← we bought ours from the local dealer in country nsw. we know them pretty well so got a good price from them. what we've done in the past to get the price down was to get it as low as possible then demand the extras (protectors, mats etc) on top of that after you've got a good price.
  19. $27,000 drive away? Where at? I went to a dealer today to check out the cost and if i can remember, About $28,900 for the car, dealer charges $1095, Rego $250, CTP $335, Stamp Duty $909. So the on road cost is approximately $2600. In total would cost about $31600. I wonder how much further they can discount. ← I got mine for $27,500 driveaway including bonnet protectors/headlight protectors and car mats. Got mine just over a month or so ago.
