  1. I thought you would appreciate that ;) Yeah i'm a bit over it too Johnnie.. Could've bought something quicker but I know what i like, and I like Corolla hatches, no regrets here.. That article is almost 2yrs old now but you never know what the 11th gen Corolla will be like, hopefully not too green :P
  2. Yep a flat silver or flat grey and really low will look awesome..G Force spokes slightly protrude from the rim edge which will look fatter again, the whole 8.5" width worries me a bit but have found a another copy of it in 18x8 but gunmetal only, these are more of a Advan RS copy than the Rotas. It is a lot of rubber on the road but bear in mind that an excessive contact patch increases rolling resistance and tyre roar.. 225/40/18 isn't that bad though.. Drove Dutchies car but felt no difference except for the amount of awesome that car has, so i'm leaning towards 18" now I forgot about the rolling resistance... yeah I think I'll go for some 18/8s; nice low-as profile and a fair amount of dish Reckon I'd need to have the guards rolled? :o I just found these advans: http://www.advanwheels.com.au/wheels/wheel.aspx?id=6 18/8's of the "dark gun" colour? Advans are expensive as though hey? Most 18x8 42-48 0ffset which are FWD friendly even the Advans are +45 for Jap FWD..Those Advan RZ are similar but RS look nicer as the 10 spokes are even distance apart where as odd as it sounds the RZ are a twin five spoke.. And yes pricey, think of it as 17" = $700ish each 18" = $800 and so on. Dutchie has 8" with +38 and are fine..
  3. NZ you get all the good stuff... Wagon looks beautiful, nice one
  4. Saw that too on Thurs on M4, SX i think.. Yesterday thought I spotted HPN07K Stoney Creek Rd... White ZZE with kit and big wheels.. Member here I believe if it is you :)
  5. Did you already have aftermarket rims on yours? Maybe you still have plastic or metal hub rings on it.. What brand wheels? maybe the centre hole is too small

  7. How the ZRE Auris/Corolla came to be... please excuse the crookedness
  8. Putting these as separate posts incase you care to add or reply as Ive noticed lately alot of replies are not edited so we see the same pics over and over. ZRE thread is a perfect example of that.. Hope you enjoy these
  9. We all waited for a TRD ZRE as well but ofcourse they went with Hilux, great move Toyota . Aurion I understand to compete with Aussie sixes but why Hilux? still a top truck but I thought it was about sales,Hilux already has a range of motors and specs to suit almost everyone.. So yes there is one built but where did it go ?
  10. As the title reads I thought I would just put stuff here that some of you might find interesting about ZRE's It came about because we all know ZRE is a huge hatch, have to hide those 1000 airbags somewhere, so few weeks ago in traffic a current Type R Civic(which I love but again a car that looks quicker than it actually is) pulled up next to me and I had to look up to see it where as normally I need to look down to see nice cars, mine is lowered but still my window line and roof line were much lower than the Honda.. So me being me had to find out the specs on both cars so here we are LENGTH: CTR- 4285mm ZRE- 4220mm WIDTH: CTR- 2046mm(inc mirrors) ZRE- 1760mm HEIGHT: CTR- 1445mm ZRE- 1515mm WHEELBASE: CTR- 2635mm ZRE- 2600mm FRONT & REAR TRACK: CTR- 1505mm/1530mm ZRE- 1524mm/1521mm
  11. Two questions: So when you say you want to get rid of the rota's, are they the black rims with the silver *lip that you have now? And, how much are those 3 that you've posted up? Cheers bud! You beat me to it,was going to send you that Rota link, those two Rota G Force you put are what Shinobi has on his ZRE and look hot, I'm also considering them in 17x8 in silver... The last pic I put up are the Rota P1 and the top one is TenzoR with polish lip I can get for $1500 in 18" with Toyo Proxes4 or cheaper again with Kumho.. As for mine yes they have a lip but are Bronze centre, were black at first... @ KevO: I have looked at the BBS LM but I know I will get sick of that quickly but Rota do top copy of that but so far i've only seen it in the UK.
  12. I'll wait till Dutchie gets his first :P As for wheels anyway I think i've narrowed it down, These but possibly paint centre in flat silver or this look sell my Rotas so then I will have no choice but to pick a style and get it :D
  13. And a great purchase too from what I saw yesterday, looked awesome on the go... another perfect stance
  14. I feel left behind :( I need to go shopping i think... Nice Charlie, interesting to see them with your headlight mod...
  15. Spotted Master Cuong about 1pm coming off Cumberland offramp on to M4,actually looked more like coming out of pit lane :D Loving the new look too, from where I was sitting it just oozes JDMness........... Also yesterday and today Wetherill Park Dennis_ZZE122, today you were behind a blue Sportivo..
  16. Don't you worry, Ive been looking for them :D Plenty of dodgy people out there, old school workers are mainly trusting and honest, too many casuals in the freight business and stuff can go missing for sure. Hard to pinpoint without some sort of tracking. Between a purchase from say the US to Post contractor delivering to your door your item will go through up to 10 sets of hands,Mail, couriers, truckies, forkies, airport staff, more truckies, forkies, mail staff, customs, mail staff then a couple more sets of hands then hopefully to your door, and intact So Ben if by chance you do end up with two sets, yes it happens, then I will gladly help you out ;)
  17. I might be bit late but here's a badge Levin badge and do tell us your new item :D
  18. So i should rule out a 98 Hyundai Excel then.. I don't like this game anymore, TELL ME DAMN IT <_<
  19. Cool, just need to get popcorn for the 9.00pm session
  20. OK my turn, HUUUGE THANKS to Duy and Johnnie for the weekend, great to meet you and great weekend, very happy to catch up again with Tom,Lee Vinh and Charlie also finally meeting Peter(dwee),good luck Thurs :) and all the other Peters at the Pete Meet. Dutchie, was great to meet you and thanks again for coming with us, I love your car but i think you know that now.. Great food, great people and was good to hear ideas and plans for our rides.. Got a bit worried as there was a bit too much talk about kransky's,nuts, knobs and rear ends Again thanks for weekend and plenty of laughs to all that attended, great pics everyone, this is sounding more like an acceptance speech, hope I haven't forgotten anyone? Thanks all See you next month
  21. Thanks for clearing that up,worried about what was in front of chicken, or behind it:) waxed mirrors, bar and bonnet for easy bug removal. No beats for me just a bucket of coffee and my UHF and a quiet drive hopefully.. Me thinks will be stuffed tonight,450km while at work so another 850km after that to Mexico.. Micro-sleeps here I come.. Safe drive to all.. Catch up soon Victorians. Wash your car Tom:)
  22. Spoiler looks great on,stealth... Looks identical to the rear spoiler on previous model Civic Type R
