  1. +35 is too train-spec, but at least its practical... IMO the most people should go with offset on a ZZE is a +25 to +20 offset, with an 8" rim. This will give you flush or very close to flush with the guards. If you want to push the limits of fitting properly under, then choose lower then these. Ie +15. But it will be pretty mexican :P guards need to be played with to get it to fit.
  2. not sure on the ZRE being able to fit, but did you consider using a set of ZZT231 hubs and calipers? They are 5x100.
  3. So there is a wheel whore in NSW (Juvi), and one in VIC (Kenshin), so who is the one in QLD? LOL :P As usual, can't wait to see them on ;) On another note, how would I go about packaging both wheel and tyres, similar to how this has been done?

This is what I will be doing for the new/replacement motor, I have always run good oil, but and a huge BUT, I serviced it every 10,000km, which is clearly too long from what you are saying. I hope my lesson can be used for others not to do the same :D

Just want to double check. Is that 200-210km/h or 200-210km overdue for the service ? No, was sitting on cruising speed (100-110km/hour) but the odometer for the motor is at 200-210k km.Because these develop an 'oil burning' problem after a certain amount of time, a combination of not keeping up to check and a bit overdue for a service would have contributed to this... Expensive lesson I guess
  6. So Kenshin's car has gone from white>black>lime green? Change it up some more why don't ya

Wow, amazing what such a thing can do, such as raising whitestivo from the depths. Yes, it did last a long time, considering everything. 4ABHGE, no 2zz conversion, would be looking at min. 3k for that. So another 1zz is going back in. And that was probably one of the best mods that whitestivo showed me, lose dealer plate surrounds haha :P After everything is said and done, I will probably be putting her back to stock under the bonnet, just a clean daily, but no go... For now ;) Also, sold off previous set of wheels, so only have the deep dish wheels now.

What is BHG? (I assume Blown Head Gasket?) This is what I wrote to KenshinX: motor hasn't been removed yet, but from discussion with mechanics and describing what happened, seems it spun a big end, and also possibly a hole in the side of the block. (Hole is only an assumption, it's on the back of the block ie. Exhaust side.) Thinking this since it dumped all the oil out of the motor in about 20-30 seconds after it blew. So I do require a whole new motor, and it is to be fitted this coming weekend I hope this is more understandable now for everyone ;)

Hey 1stkill, Everything is alright, yes this is true what happened to the motor, went Bang! Around 200-210k km. The only couple of sources why it did this because it was overdue for a service and it was on its way out, happened sooner rather then later. Have a new motor ready awaiting fitting, so since this is my daily driver not running, I am using PT to get around... Fun haha :P

...but I know of an AE86 which has 15x10 -25 and the deepest Corolla offset of all time!! Forgot to add ZZE hahaha :P (fixed)

I can see you're not a fan of stance and fitment, each to their own Evo

So true Kenshin, the time I had these on as daily, got done twice in 2 months... my fault I know. So they are only for show now ;) Quite possibly the lowest offset on a ZZE rolla that I know of Evo

Thanks guys, Front and rear rolled and flared, thinking about going further with them but not set in stone yet... These are only for show, not daily on them, get hassled too much by police :( Evo

Haven't updated in awhile, Just a pic from the July Downshift meet: Enjoy! Evo
  16. yes, get a new replacement/ second hand throttle body and see if it resolves your problems. Evo
  17. I have had the same problem, most likely a faulty throttle body, the ISCV sensor would be messed up. (bit of background) when I upgraded to TRD, i had the throttle body provided, was fine for ages, then started to fluctuate idle (search for this) I found out the previous owner had the same problem, now i NEVER had this issue with my old throttle body, so i changed it back to my old one and success :D so thinking this could be the problem. Evo
  18. Way to go Kenshin, you are finally up to my rides thread post count hahaha :P Looks like some of the chops I did for you awhile ago reflected the finished product pretty well :D Team LIME GREEN ftw!
  19. Most likely with a roller, but the goal is to be flared as much as possible without cutting out the inner skin, etc. and not ruining the paintwork (flaking, chipping etc.) Pretty sure I can get the rears to fit, but the fronts are going to be a challenge.
  20. Hey mate, It is a real mission trying to find good offset wheels in 16" 4x100 specs, the problem is most deep dish rims with big offset support the 'older' style stud pattern of 4x114.3. Keep looking and I am sure you will find something decent. On another note, getting the guards rolled and flared this weekend to fit my masif wheels, oh yeah B)
  21. Mine will be getting done professionally next week ;)
