Pulled a massive 592.3km from 1 tank of Caltex 98 when I went to Sunshine Coast a few weeks ago. I have only been using 98RON from Caltex, and fuel efficiency is better then ever :D I think I put in around 45L to fill her up, so that's 7.6L/100km... Evo

Stick with Stock speakers... they are very good for stockos :D Evo

I think the upgraded Sportivo head units run an AUX output in the back of the double-din unit. No USB though. Evo

@ losties, is you corolla the Sportivo? If not, you would not have the side tweeters, because the sportivo came with them out of factory... I have added the tweeters to mine from a sportivo, it is simply plug in and play :D and IMO they work really well and make the treble and high end frequencies alot better :D Evo

Well, what i am saying is atm, I have the key lock nuts on all bolts on each wheel... so is it ok to have just 1 lock nut per rim and have the rest as normal 6-hex nuts?

Ok, so there are a fair few companies out there that manufacture wheel lock nuts for aftermarket rims, but I have noticed that most lock nuts only come with 1 lock nut per rim. Don't want to have to find that all nuts (apart from the 4) have been flogged after paying the price you do for them... Besides Wedssport, is there any other companies that does lock nuts on all 4 bolts/ rim? Otherwise I will just have to get them for my security and piece of mind. Evo

Can't say I am 100% sure, but this sounds like it could be causing longer crank times... try using platinum or even Iridium Spark Plugs if you can budget for it. Evo

Nice one xoom, I am still waiting on new people to ask the ancient question, supercharge or turbocharge :P I have been through that epic info thread many a times, and it works out to be a considerable amount.. Myself and info from others here took the time, effort and $$ to r&d for the kit I had... shame that turned out sour :( But I hope people can learn from others mistakes :D after all, that's what modding is all about! Small update, Now have working foglights :D love the controllability of them, with the on/ off switch :P Also, considering changing the bonnet back to stock for the clean, no rice look... Thoughts? Evo

Also, the 2zz isn't nearly as much fun as a charged 1zz, however, both are still alot of fun :P its just like driving a standard/ normal corolla with Intake and exhaust, but once you put the foot down, it becomes a whole different animal As shown at the meet last Thursday, it drives superb compared to how it used to drive, and there are those on here that can vouch for that! :P

I've pretty much decided to go with the Apexi I think. looks like you have finally made up your mind, so let us know how it goes when you fit it. these topics always come up, SRI or CAI, SRI opinions, SRI thoughts etc. stick with what you now know and spare a thought that most of us have done either/ or and are simply explaining the pros and cons of each... happy modding :P Evo
