Corolla Police Victoria / speed camera

Spotted today Northern Suburbs (just off Bell st Pascoe vale) - Navy Blue Corolla Wagon ... Speed Camera (no external flash)

and same as NSW latest Rolla Hatch Levin Black 16inch rims...pretty dark tinted windows.. was cops had blue and red lights just visable in back window (flemington)

2 uniformed in car .. couldn't get photo without getting spotted ....

If they have uniform they can issue tickets - no uniform eg : (cib) cannot issue ticket

iv seen them b4, i normally drive down pascoe vale road so iv seen them (or look alikes) quite a few times

might not even be a police car, just speed camera people

Maybe the police have realised that untill they get fords with holden engines there just wasting there money....

i saw that last year when i was back it was easy to spot. but that time it was the light blue wagon.

mobile speed cameras (not lasers) is privatised so those people are not police.

the cameras are mounted inside the car and the gear needs to be hidden so they have very dark tinting especially on the rear windows.

usually give away sign is the number of mounted aerials on the back windows and how neatly and straight they park on the nature strip.

Yeah private company in Victoria .fixed camera cars (easy to spot )

.. but Vic police have new cars ... Holden SS and Corolla now i know why .. Laser mounted drivers side gaurd blends into car.. saw them testing it today in Brunswick ( vic) was parked in a stream of traffic windows up .. you drive towards it .... when you see it just above drivers side wheel too late ... another unmarked car 500m away pulling you over....

I don't speed so don't care but sometimes my learners go over before i get a chance to notice .. they just smiled at me as i went past while teaching(think they were a bit over 60)
