thE XR4's are really good cars in my opinion.

Firstly the handling is just handles soo well and is nice and firm.

The engine has good torque and the gearbox is matched quite nicely.

I really like the build quality aswell, for this model.

I think overall its a terrific little car, with ample amount punch.

You can test drive them at your local dealer and see for yourself :-).

nice niffy hot hatch! but its a ford...

Ford Australia says it will launch specification details and pricing nearer to the car's launch, but the Fiesta ST in Europe sprints from 0-100km/h in 7.9 seconds and has a top speed of 129mph (208km/h).

Firstly it lacks 20KW as compared with the clio sport.

Thats the main disadvantage, but in saying that

i can only see that as the main disadvantage.

But the styling of the clio sport is not my cup of tea.

Saying but its a ford is meaningless, you gotta take each car on its own merits.

The fiesta range are great little cars, regardless of what crap ford has pushed out of the factory.

Pricing is cheap as....they are already up on the ford website

24,990 $ from memory with the only available option being that of the pinstripes at an extra 300 $

add on dealer delivery and statutory charges whats that bring it upto $27,500 drive away ?

then follow the link to the XR4 minisite

pretty cheap for a nice NA 2.0l

I actually came accross in Hoxton park. the driver was a real d1ck! was tail-gating me all the way down cow pasture road approaching a speed camera. He tried to egg me on to race him all the way up the road. They're quick little things, I was in the wrong gear sitting at sitting at 4Krpm and still stayed with him all the way. When i hit lift, he hit the brakes so I'm not sure which is quicker.

anyway, they look cute with the racing stripe and all. the second time he tried to run me he drop it down a gear and the car shot forward like a rocket. also, the 0-100 time don't mean squat! as most s'tivo drivers know, the "brochure posted times" are usually theoretical or dyno estimates. All-in-all, i wouldn't buy one but i'd definitely recommend it to my little sister =)

Yep around $27,500 drive away.

Its a excellent price plus it has stability and traction control.

17" inch rims standard.

I would prefer the xr4 over the turbo ralliart colt.

With all the p-plate regulations in place, regarding turbos and v8.

More young guns will lean towards the xr4, smart marketing by ford.

exactly......i wouldnt like to go ne smaller than the stivo, corolla is about as far as i would go in regard to small cars and not losing your masculinity (in the eyes of mates and smart asses) lol.....droppin to a ford fiesta is a little too feminine......even the name "fiesta" sounds gay...hahaah...although id love it if my sister bought one so i could fang around in it everynow and then with cap pulled down low and some real dark glasses......maybe even a fake moustache

I checked one of these out at the Ford factory couple of months ago, looks the goods. I love the ricey stripe :) For the same money I'd probably go Polo GTi but I guess that depends on the test drive. A lot more mods available for the Polo since the same engine powered the old Golf GTi for years....
