Alot of things can cause the protection to kick in.

Check your grounding wires, check power cable and check speaker cables to make sure they are tight and secure.

Your amp could be overheating.

Your amp could also be stuffed. Most amps I see with protection mode activated is usually due to a bad amp.

sorry BigBum, i sent him to post there cause he wanted the fastest responce, but thankx for that bit of help :)

i had the same problem last year.

pay particular attention to the ground wire! check and double check it! undo the connection and reconnect.. making sure the end of the ground wire is touching BARE metal. shave off the paint around the connection to get more contact
