Howdy,

4age - 16 valve had a compression ratio of 9.8:1 from memory.

You can give the piston transplant a go but i doubt you will make the power of a 4age...ge = sport head fe = econcomy head. Although the 4age might be an older engine it is tough as nails and has a greater number of modification options compared to the 4afe.

Cheers

GE pistons + the combustion chamber in an FE head = very high compression.

GE pistons are available in 9.4:1 with an 18mm pin or 10.3:1 with a 20mm pin, both will put the compresison too high when mated with an FE head.

Why not put in a 20V? They were made up to 2000.
