I was just wondering how everyone mounts neons. i am currently using double sided tap and having limited success. Any better and more reliable methods would be great

depends on where ur mounting it, if it somewhre plastic n not very seen use a screw or a cable tie, i used cable ties for the ones under my dash and i screwed the ones in under my parcell shelf and cut the top of the screw off

hahaha :whistling:

umm yea it depends on where u're actually installing it... if you want something that doesn't really show i'd suggest stitching the neon using strong string... but the best option would be to use black cable ties... i actually pierced through the back seats and 'threaded' the cable ties through there and tied the neon... when i did the footwell i drilled holes and 'threaded' the cable ties through there... i was actually using hot glue to stick the neon and it actually worked the neon just recently fell off after almost two years but then when i was redoing it i figured it'd be best to use cable ties... go with black cable ties as they camoflage real nicely... :toast:

Another idea is to get Euqaliptis oil and clean the dash or where your sticking it. Then get some black Velcro.

Velcro works everywhere :)

Thanks for the replies guys i might try the hot glue idea becasue i'm not really to keen about drilling holes in things and i can't always use cable ties.
