Installing Front Seats, how...?

Hi guys,

I just bought a new pair of sportivo seats. Anyone here know a thing about the railing? ok my question is (as shown in the pic) how do i take the black railing off?? Cause i need to swap it. I tried putting the sportivo seats on the car, but wont fit. that's why I need to swap them.

They should be straight swap. If you have a 2001+ it will just bolt in.

i'm trying to put them on the 2003 Echo (the sportivo echo got them)

Oh. Sorry about that, didn't realise you had a Echo Sportivo. The rails won't come off the seat. You'll have to find an engineer or someone who can fabricate the rails to fit the echo. Best bet would be to buy an Echo driver's seat from the wreckers and get the engineer to swap rails*

*My mate got his SP23 fitted with WRX seats and it cost him cost around $200 - that is with an engineer's certifcate to stay on the lighter side of the law *

thanks mate, I just found one which located @ Concord (sydney) so i'll visit them and see what they can do for me :) hopefully it wont go over $300, for the labour.
