Got a new (94) Vienta, didn't know it had a CD changer!

It's stuffed unfortunately, the CD changer that is. I press eject and the door opens but the cartridge won't come out. Anyone else have/had this problem? Or should i just chuck it and install my JVC MP3 player instead?

to my knowledge, the stackers that came in the GEN3 cam's are made by pioneer or fujistu ten (spelling).

personally, I would do away with any CD / MP3 changer, just get a good quality MP3 headdeck, nice speakers, sub (if needed)

I not sure if you can get a converter from Toyota OEM to JVC plug for your stacker, but hey, there is always ebay :)

I've got the 98 Vienta, with a 6 disc stacker -- it's got all my dearly beloved Dream Theater CD's in there.

If you're intested, PM or e-mail me, I'd be willing to sell it. (DT CD's not included. :))

My opinion... go a DVD Head Unit, put all your best songs on a DVD and run off that :) I can't think of many people that listen to more than 4.7gb of music... lol

This is true .. unless you're going on hell-long trips, I usually find a single MP3 CD with a couple of albums usually suffices.

what i usually do is, give the side (near the foot well area) a light smacking. LOL

it happened when i used to have the 6 in dash cd stacker from toyota.

This is my opinion... but how long you expect a CD stacker to last for? If it's survived since 94, it's done one hell of a trip mate.

Get a better replacement one, or go the DVD headunit. Also gives you the opportunity to get a 7 inch LCD screen in there one day for watching stuff, or the lil rats who sit in the back :P
