Hi all,

Through experience and research with my ST184 I knew my total tank capacity was 60Ltrs what was mad up of:

45Ltrs Main

15Ltrs Reserve

I'm having trouble calculating capacities for the ST185, I have a total of 68Ltrs (factory spec);

The closest estimate I've been able to calculate is:

55Ltrs Main

13Ltrs Reserve

Somebody able to justify/confirm this figure for me?

I tried google but I always end up with the total capacity and not the break downs, the tank shape is different from the ST184 so I'm not going to assume the reserve is the same.

motor bikes have reserves (at least older ones)

cars dont ..

what in your tank is there to be used till you've run out ..

HOWEVER

Yes , 68ltrs for the GT4

when dash light stays brightly lit , you'll have close enough to 55 K's worth of 'average' driving

when the light flickers , its annoying but its due to the tank not being 'baffled' resulting in sloshing

Pete..
