Here's a cheap and easy way mod for your pedals.

STEP 1

Remove your pedal covers. Just pull them off from one corner.

STEP 2

Clean the bare metal with some alcohol solution. I used metholated spirits

STEP 3

Cut out a larger shape of the pedal covers, and remove the backing from the grip tape.

STEP 4

Place the grip tape over the bare metal. It's really sticky, so you only have one shot.

STEP 5

The edges are folded over, and cut to size using a sharp stanley knife.

And, you're done! Members with Stivo's will have the sports accelerater pedal so it'll look even better!

All this cost me $10, and roughly 20 mins to do! Alternativly, if you ask your local skate shop nicely, they mite have some left overs that they can just give to you for nothing.

Being skateboard deck grip, i found theres heaps of grip even with wet shoes!

They're a great alternative to the popular aftermarket pedals you get from car shops, and they're cheap!!!

Thanks for looking!

Sorry mate but this has to be one of the most hairbrained ideas I've ever seen.

There is nothing a) safe or b ) fast about pedals that stick to your feet

Im not an Autosalon reader! I was helping a friend replace his skatey deck grip and he suggested it! I didnt even think about how legit it'd be!

It is very hair brained, Tayles! :spiteful:

It looks good IMO tho! Hahaha

Yeah fair call.

If you want mad heel-toe action to add to it get an accelerator pedal with the little extra piece on the bottom left. Works a treat
