hey guys, i was wondering if anybody would help me out with installing a sub and amp to the new corolla zre-152 ... its a corolla ascent..

i have all needed wiring, and LOC(line out converter) want to keep factory headunit.

basically the setup is a jaycar 800wrms amp, and two alpine type r 12" in a ported box...

will pay, and offer lunch and beer.

all i really need is a soldering gun, as i dont have 1 ... for the LOC,

if you can help me out, or know someone that can, i would really appreciate it...

reason i dont want to go to specialty stores is the installation price that they have quoted me ... its just way too much

btw i live in Sydney, Gladesville - Ryde, ... dont mind driving aswell.

would really appreciate the help ...

P.S. sorry if posted in wrong section.

Find it hard to put Good and Cheap in the same sentence.

lifestyle store at Parramatta did my install and did a good quality job.

Your looking around ~$200 to get it done

DIY'ing is not that hard, it just takes time and a little know how.

i'm 1/2 way doing my own subs and amp off the standard headunit (taken 30mins so far), just stuck with the remote wire because i can't seem to access the cigarette lighter. i'm the process of finding a new source of 12v.

i've decided to make sure that no wires are exposed what so ever with the amp under the passenger seat, all wiring is under the carpet or behind covers. probably take max 2hrs

asif pay $200 + for audio job like that.
