Fujitsu Ten AM/FM Casette Receiver Security Code

ICE PIECE

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I've bought camry 1998 with Radio/Casette but without the security code. I visited Toyota maintence and service in preston last month and they told me you have to pay around $ 90.00 to open the code which is price of new RADIO/CD PLAYER. However, my friend told me I can open the code by doning some searching in INTERNET for free .

Indeed, I couldn't find the code which contains from 3 digits.

WHO CAN TELL ME :

1. WHAT IS THE SEC CODE.

or

2. WHERE CAN I OPEN SEC CODE except TOYOTA b/c they are very expensive

THANK YOU MATE

Your friend is talking rubbish - there's nothing on the net about decoding Fujitsu 10 head units, because it has to be done via hardware. Toyota dealers have a decoding box that is provided by Fujitsu 10 (chargeable, btw) hence the $90 charge by the dealer to R&R the unit and decode it. Also, Toyota vehicles are delivered with no code entered, it's up to the customer if they want to enter a code or not. Just throw the unit over your shoulder and put in a half decent Pioneer or whatever unit for a few dollars more than having a crummy tape deck decoded.

Hi friends

yes today I ringed Fujitsu Australia ( Customers Services ) and they've told me that they don't have the security code b/c every customer chooses and sets what he want. I was disappointed but after reading pinzvidz's reply which clarify that SEC code is not default but the customer can set it, I'm convinced now.

thank you friends, and i'm going to buy new Radio/CD Player tomorrow

Best Regards
