Can anyone help,i have a 2 button remote that i need to reprogram,,, i have one working one also if thats needed to do it.. anyone can help would be great.

The toyota service department near my work did mine for free. But otherwise, it should be in the manual if it can be done yourself.

thankks for your input,,, definatly not in the manual and i dont really want to go to a dealer when i know its usually a simple procedure,, i just dont know whaat it is ;-)

Get in the car and close the door...

Insert the key into the ignition and turn from lock to on 3 times, leaving the key in the on position...

Push the old remote button once...

(chirp should be heard)

Push the new remote button once...

(chirp should be heard)

Turn the key back to off, remove from ignition and check the operation of both remotes...

oh man,,,, your a f#$kn champ,,thanks mate,worked first go.

do you know if this prcedure works the same on a 2000 corolla?i think its the same model as yours,,single button remote,,one of them had a battery go flat and when i changed it it stopped working.but i dont want to try to reprogram incase its the wrong procedure..

Not too sure of the Corolla Procedure, never done one before sorry...

I have a feeling you have to open and close the door and insert key into ignition multiple times tho...
