My Dyno results

My dYno sheet of the 1zz..(at the coast)

what you guys think of it?

depending on some of the other stats i.e. temp etc & also the style of dyno as this print out doesnt look familiar to me at all ..... this looks like wat a 1zz will put out ..... however it looks like the run was done in 3rd gear so it will probably show a little more power than u actually have ..... u need to do the run in the gear thats closest to 1:1 ratio which is 4th in the 1zz .... 3rd is 1.310 & 4th is 0.969.

Im guessing its stock with no mods ?

my friend also has a 1zz (81kw) and my car pulls much better than hes.

so is there something wrong here?? how much less kw wil the dyNo read if done in 4th? :(

I'm assuming your in the Europe. In Australia we has a power reduction down to 93kW towards the end of the models run. Can't remember what years, but I think it only happened on the electric throttle models.

As for what gear to run the dyno in don't be too worried as the operator needs to make sure his machine doesn't get over sped.

def run in 3rd i think, the power is about right, mine was run in 4th and the max speed was around 180ish with a power of about 81!

we have a few 1zzs here that run 84-85kws in 4th

Good run, torque is interesting though. My max was nearly 300Nm, can anyone shead some light on this?

Most 'torque' figures on dyno printouts are tractive effort. It would have been 300N, not 300Nm.

the power seems right as i got 83.9 today on the dyno with CAI and tivo muffler so the power seems right

the 1zz motor i have is a 1.6i ..same that side?

i checked out the 1/4 mile times and was impressed by the 1zz hitting the 15's.

Those guys in the 15's (even late 15's) what are they runing thats getting them in the 15z? except for YDOit4 (nt sure if i spelt it correctly ) as i know he has an apexi Power FC.

The 1zz-fe is a 1.8L engine, while the 3zz-fe is a 1.6L engine.

As for what mods they have to achieve their 1/4 mile times they should be listed.

oh crap!! i thought it was the other way around..

well then i gues my car is performing good? its a 1.6L engine and doing 84.9 wher as the 1.8 is doing 83.9??

power figures doesnt mean much though..

would i still be able 2crack it in the 15's though? :)
