Just curious, anyone tried to get after market leather seats for KX-R?, misus wants leather seats so we're looking at KX-S, but $10,000 (KXR to KXS) extra just so we can get leather seats is a tad bit expensive.

I was quoted around $3.5K for aftermarket leather on a Prado (through the dealer's "preferred" trimmer), but ended up getting a KX-S Kluger instead B)

My previous Grande should be around somewhere in Perth. I don't know how to search for it though.

The inside was in perfect condition. You would even have electric seats.

Its not just for leather, its also bigger wheels and tyre, bluetooth, climate control, roof rails, fog lights, and the feel of the leather is much much better than the kxr.

I intentionally went for the KX-R because although I would have liked leather seats, the only colour the KX-S interior comes in is ALL BLACK. On two seperate occasions, the wife and kids jumped into a Kluger that had been sitting in the sun and complained about burning their legs on the hot seats. That was the end of the consideration for me.

I have the light grey interior and that looks much nicer than the all black of the KX-S (to me anyway).

And, as much as I loved the look of the KX-S wheels, I don't love the price per tyre to replace them $500-$600.

I did however buy the KX-S 6 stacker with bluetooth, which i got for $400 on ebay. It is worth every penny just for the convenience of the bluetooth through the car speakers. The fitting caused a few scars around the dash so be aware of that, but still happy I did it.

quoted from the dealer, aftermarket leather seat can be fitted but they have to be compatiable with the side airbag etc. That puts me off of that idea and when for KX-S.
