Hey all,

I would like to ask for your help,if possible :D

Well im finding more things being replaced in the car from the service dealer and show them what they did

So i would to ask if anyone could post a picture of theyre engine bay & exhaust manifold of their 2008 toyota model(automatic)/Ateva .In addition i would like to also ask what colour and condition should the exhaust manifold be for a fairly new one.

I really appreciate your help :D

Would help but mines manual. Why dont you go to a dealer, pop the bonnet and take a personal look there?

lol, i think paranoia is starting to kick in.

pretty much all exhaust manifolds look that colour, i wouldn't worry about it. it's the same as the bracket for the egr valve assembly on the intake manifold, that looks older than it is too.

btw what colour is the exhaust/exhaust manifold meant to be , as for being paranoid :P lol ,just worried since the exhaust/exhaust manifold when the car accelerates makes an abnormal sound and this is my first new car : <_<

well for a new new car, it will be a dark metallic grey colour. the heat shield encasing it will be a light almost chrome colour.

what sort of sound is it making? chances are, it's not the exhaust manifold as it's just a bunch of downpipes going underneath the car. what sound and under what sorts of engine loads (low revs, high recs, full throttle, gentle, etc.)
