Lowering a Corolla ZRE

the gap between tyre and guard is about 4 fingers for front but the ones at the back is about 3-4cm more. is tthat the same for everyone else? wat did u do bout it? if i lower my car by 3cm all round, its not gonna do anything to balance the front n rear is it?

if i lower the front by 2cm, back by 4cm, is it going to have negative effects on the car or tyres in the long run?

Suppose the car should be lower not only looking to a gap between tire and a car, but the side skirt should go in same line as the ground, be parallel.

I've got -6 cm, but still the skirt not parallel with ground. Ford inf front of me is -5 cm, but it's parallel.

if u r doing 6cm drop all round, the side skirt and the ground are never going to be parallel.

you probably have to drop the rear by 2cm more... or lift the front by 2cm so that your car will sit level.

that's what i am hoping to do. i have a brand new corolla with stock suspension. the back of the car sits about 2-3cm higher than the front and it really bothers me a lot. the sight of the uneven gap is driving me nuts.

i called different stores, spoke to a number of different specialists and decided to have the rear lowered by 1 inch by using Eibach springs. hopefully the car will sit level after this tiny change. and hopefully by lowering the back only will not put my car at higher risks of mechanical problems.

By the looks of that pic the front is quite low. As with the ZZE's to get the car to sit level you put lows in the front and super lows in the rear. Cars sits level front to rear within 2-4mm.

my mechanic got them for me. i think it costs 330 for you due to courier costs. my mech. went and picked mine up.

no courier cost for them their distrubution office is 5 mins from my place, and that's what tehy quoted me, o well i guess i'll just have to shop around again for the right price
