twm shifter vs trd shifter

Recommended Posts

hey rolla drivers, im just wondering what are your thoughts on either of thes shifters?

im looking at buying one but im not sure which to go for.

thanks heaps! Brad

I went for the TWM short shifter, Bushings and Gear knob. I couldnt have been more happy with the quality and service. If you pop down to the next sydney meet you can have a test drive (im sure someone with a TRD one will give you a go to see the difference)

X2 I got the exact same thing. Works wonders I tell you that. Also I think TWM is cheaper including the shipping..

Ive tried the TRD shifter on 2 different stivo's.... I must say it definately does make shifting alot more quicker and precise, but the one thing i hate is how much more harder it makes daily driving although you do get used to it. From my perspective, if you love your streetracing, shortshifting is ideal lol.

is 240 shipped really worth it?

couldnt i get a generic one for like 50$ here in aus.

i do prefer branded products but for a shifter does it really make a difference.

Get in touch with the artist formerly known as Rollamods mate, word on the street is that he will sort you out for alot less than $240.

Sure does make a difference. If i had a replica shifter in my car, i think i would litteraly split the thing in half from shifting hard.

Its the material there actualy made out of.
