1990 corolla 2 el31 jap import "RARE"

HI I RECENTLY PURCHASED THIS RARE JAP IMPORT el31 COROLLA 2 AND UPON INSPECTION NOTICED THE TO PARTS ON THE BELL HOUSING THAT THE ENGINE MOUNTS SCREW INTO HAVE BEEN SNAPPED OFF. ANY ADVICE ON HOW TO GET THE GEAR BOX OOUT WITHOUT HAVING TO REMOVE ENGINE? OR CAN WE REPLACE BELL HOUSING COVER?

THIS IS A VERY RARE CAR WITH FULL JAP OPTIONS AND WOULD LOVE TO GET HER FIXED. MOTOR RUNS PERFECT.

Apparently Tercel panels also fit straight onto this model and the left pop up light needs a to be straightened .

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated..

i have only ever seen one on the road in north qld.

and have only heard of one other in aust.

it will be hard finding anyone here with any iformation about this car.

post up some pics of the whole car please.

lol imho i really dont like the look of these cars.

they remind me of fiat's.

all sorted i got the mounts welded and have been ripping my hair out trying to get the damn gear box back in all day. it will be worth it in the end though..

I found out the Tercel panels fit straight on so anyone in brissy with a right panel off a tercel gimme a yell.
