Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself and my car...

My name is Mark and i recently bought a 2003 Toyota HiLux SR5 3lt Turbo Diesel dual cab ute, my first Toyota and my first 4WD, bring on the road trips and offroading!! lol. First of all i just wanna get to know other people who own a 01-04 HiLux SR5 to see what mods they've done as i want to slowly but surely do up my HiLux, and also gain the knowledge and experience in off-road driving.

With the ute, i would like to have it looking 2 different ways, a street look for the weekends and everyday driving to work and such, and then the tough fourby look for the road trips and off-road driving. Below is a list of all the accessories and mods I've already done and ones i would like to do.

Accessories/mods already done when I purchased the ute:

-K&N Air Filter

-Removable Tow bar

-31" Bridgestone Wrangler Mud Tyres on the stock 15" rims

-Side steps and Sports Bar

-Chrome front end bumper

-Opposite Lock Steel Front Bull Bar (separate)

-Turbo Boost Gauge

-Altezza Rear Tail lights

-Brand new Tonneau Cover

-New Battery

Accessories/mods I've recently done after purchasing the ute:

-Midnight Express window tinting

-Electronic Rust Proofing

-Genuine Toyota Bonnet Protector

-Projector Headlights and Corner lights

-Clear Side Indicator lights

-Installed a 12V Power Socket in the rear tray on drivers side (for air compressor etc)

-Installed a Sony Xplod XM-4S Amp Powering Sony 6" Splits in the front, Sony 6" 2 ways in the back and a Boss 10" Sub in a custom box. All powered by a basic head unit that had pre-outs (will upgrade later).

-New seat covers, dash mat, floor mats etc.

Other accessories i want to get in the future:

-Quality 12V air compressor

-4WD Recovery kit (snatch strap, shackles etc)

-Spotties (for the front bull bar)

-Steel Rear step bar to match the front bull bar

-Chrome rear step bar to match chrome front bumper

-In-Dash CB / UHF Radio (already have a pair of handhelds)

-Front undercarriage skid/bash plate

-Complete set of rims with road tyres

-HID kit for the projector headlights

-DPchip ECU upgrade

-Larger exhaust

-Increase boost pressure (after exhaust and DPchip)

-Canopy for the tray

So, for the street look I want to have the following on the car:

-Projector Headlights and HIDs

-Chrome font end

-Big rims with road tyres

-Rear chrome step bumper

-Side steps and Sports bar

And for the fourby look, the following:

-Steel front Bull Bar with Spotties (and aerial for the CB / UHF Radio)

-Original headlights with Headlight Protectors

-Bonnet Protector

-31" Bridgestone Wrangler Mud Tyres on 15” wheels

-Rear steel step bar

-Front undercarriage skid/bash plate

-Canopy

Well, that’s about it for now, I will post some pics soon. I look forward to getting to know some of you in the near future. Cheers.
