What i did this weekend

Well, this weekend I pulled apart a 3sgte, ready for it to be recod... here are some pics.

I had already taken the head in for machining at this stage, forgot to take pics.

the headgasket... its clogged with ****... so was the head and block...

Nice. Are you going to do anything about the corrosion in the cylinder(s)?

Yeah, the block is getting cleaned properly, and the bore is getting honed.

Along with the head getting reconditioned and shaved (as it was slightly warped)

the cooling system will be cleaned/replaced once the motor goes back together.

yeah, we no longer wonder why the head is warped and there were overheating issues...
