hi there.

no doubt this simple question has been asked in the past but i can't find it with a search.

i have an '89 corolla, auto, and i have no idea what the correct brake fluid is for it?

could someone help me please?

your reservior cap should have it written on it... but from memory its DOT3

Correct me if im wrong but wouldn't it be better to replace with dot 4

Well the diifferance between the is how well they can keep working under heat and pressure, dot 4 is better than dot 3. :) :)

just dont use dot 5 fluids as theyre silicone based. dot 5.1 fluds are ok though, as theyre mineral based.
