Hey this is a stupid question but is there only the one plug under an 03 corolla auto? I just want to change the oil. Also where Is the oil filter? I couldn't seem to find it

Yes, there is only one plug...

From my knowledge the auto oil isn't designed to be changed...

The oil filter is located infront of the sump underneath the car...

The auto oil IS designed to be changed and as such there is a drain plug for it. The engine oil drain plug is on the drivers side of the car and the filter sits right next to the sump.

Easiest way is to pull out your Auto Dipstick and read what it says on the sticker...

You mean that new WS Transmission Fluid? That stuff is designed to be changed... but after about 160,000kms I believe. You can usually tell if you have an auto box that uses that because when you try to find the transmission fluid dipstick, you won't find one.

Edit: I looked at the service schedule for my Aurion and it only shows to change the transmission fluid at 90,000kms if the car is driven under 'extreme conditions'. Under normal conditions up to 210,000kms (the last service per logbook), it only has the transmission fluid listed as inspect and replace if required.

I guess it is expected to last for ages under normal conditions.

Well the new stuff is WS, before that was IV and before that was Dexron III...

Dex III is usually changed every 60,000kms, IV and WS isn't specified to be changed except under extreme conditions as stated above...
