HELP NEEDED

Hey

We currently have a 1995 GLI TCR10R MANUAL Tarago

we are looking to up grade to a newer model such as the 03 or around a bouts or even the brand new ones, although ours is still running perfect mechanical condition with straight panels and good interior just the few carpak scratches and small dints it has almost 300 000 k's and we will need to upgrade in the future but we will keep it for a little longer becuase it is still perfect and it is mechanicaly perfect with all new radiator, bypas and heater hoses on it ( you no anyone looking to buy a manual tarago in the near future and in the Canberra region let me know :) )

the problem is however we want a manual as the current one is a manual

and i have never seen a tarago older then 96 have a manual trans

and the auto with the tiptronic is no good... :(

can you get these in say a manual 5 speed with a clutch and none of this auto Bull****

we had a look on today in commonwealth motors just for an idea and it was auto and the sales rep said he hadnt seen any manual taragos... stupid lazy wa**** that demand auto :(:(

As far as I know, all Tarago’s after the Wombat shape are auto. At least all Australian delivered ones with the 2AZ and the new V6 ones with 2GR.

I work for Toyota and have never seen a manual one past the TCR10's...

As far as I know, they don't exist...

but i am very dissapointed becuase toyotas run forever and are very reliable and to hear they most probably dont ocme in manual was which i thought in the first place :(

however bruce which wombat/egg year model tarago are you talking about

That would be the same shape as the one you have, which finished production in 2000 I think.

The new Taragos are a well built car though, even with the auto it's a great car to drive :) ...
