Fuel line in ZZE123, ZZE123R.

Recommended Posts

Have you tried looking at the workshop manual in the Workshop section?

Yes, that was the first place I looked, also did a search on the web, found nothing so far.

Why not have a look in your engine bay?

Fuel line runs from the filter to the rail, then you have the return line, and the purge line from the tank to the charcoal cannister...

Why not have a look in your engine bay?

Yeah that would be a good place to start

Fuel line runs from the filter to the rail, then you have the return line, and the purge line from the tank to the charcoal cannister...

I know on the 1ZZ-FE there is no Fuel Filter under the Bonnet. It's in the Fuel Tank.

And their is no Return Line either !

Cheers

T.

Kenneth, you have to remove the plastic engine cover, and it's hiding underneath it.

Looking at the black plastic intake connected to the engine, it's sitting just on top. There's 2 bolts i've indicated which hold it in place.

*sidenote, it's quite ironic, My 2ZZGE engine came out of a sportivo, not a celica.*

unless u're putting in bigger injectors for your supercharger project...but then u'ld know what ure doing. Everyone else, stay away!! :D

u dont need to touch ur fuel line if ur putting bigger injectors in ...... and unless he is gonna run boost in the double digits and is really worried about fuel economy he wouldnt need the return line ...... just offset the loss of pressure in the fuel system with slightly larger injectors
