Hey guys ,

where to top up transmission fluid in a Paseo ? The dam gearbox doesnt have a DipStick which would have made life much easier but i guess they ran out of space under the bonnet to add extra parts . LOL

Seems to be a leak where the gearbox joins the engine and it has been bleeding for a while. Pretty sure it has close to nothing in there as shifting is crunching.

On another topic - Anyone selling a Paseo or Startlet engine (turbo engine) ? Thinking of a conversion as my standard engine has clocked 275k.

thanks

Looking at your engine bay, it's at the front right hand side of the bay on the box housing. It's about halfway down the side, you can't miss it.

I suggest doing a complete fluid change - drain it through the plug at the bottom, put the plug back in then fill till it runs out the filler hole. Leave it for a second till it stops running out, and she's full.
