hey guys im pretty noob with cars so you'll prob laugh

but when u buy 19" rims + tyres, does that mean your ride is going to get higher too? ><

or is the tyres just skinner so it stays the same height

sorry about the noob questions ><

only way to find out is to ask but heyy

Tyres should be skinnier to keep the same rolling diameter, or your speedo will be out ;) Here's a handy little calculator so you can see the effects of changing rim size/type profile and see how your rolling diameter changes/speedo differences.

A good page or two to read if you have the time and are new to the whole wheel/tire thing is:

Car Bibles : The Wheel and Tyre Bible Page 1 of 2

Car Bibles : The Wheel and Tyre Bible Page 2 of 2

Page two covers the increasing wheel size aspect of it all.

As well as the one that the_random_hero posted, there is another tire size calculator which I use and that is:

1010 Tires: Tire Size Calculator
