sportivo cluster in an auto ascent

Recommended Posts

hey all,

I've done a search but haven't found much (well i did but nothing about auto corollas with a stivo cluster).

I'm about to purchase a sportivo cluster but something just came to mind.

Will overdrive still work with a stivo cluster (which only comes in 6sp manual)?

any help would be great!

Thanks,

Tinno

tin,

it'd fit but the rev will not go past 6000 so you got to remember that you wont hit lift with the cluster ;)

overdrive would still work IMO but you just will not be able to tell if its ON/OFF (other then feeling it) because the stivo wouldnt have the O/D button on their manuals..

how much did u pay for the cluster??

If i change my cluster is it the same km's??

eg i have 90k on my clock now, i get a 2nd hand cluster, put k's on that then change back and still have 90k???

i know with the commo u have to link the IPC ( instrument panel cluster ) to the BCM ( body control module ) to work, anything need doing to the rollas???

the KM's are stored in the cluster itself so if you get a new cluster with 0km on it, when you put it onto your car it'd have 0km on the clock, i got my levin cluster cheap sub 100 dollars so that was pretty lucky.

The rolla is just straight swap, 3 screws 1 plug and you are done :)
