With a Manual Transmission, YR or YRS?

I think you should definitely go for a 1.5 (YRS or YRX). I've heard cases of where the 1.3L will struggle uphill with the a/c on - Summer's coming! :)

we have a BIIG hill here we take our Yaris Edge (1.3) out on Test drives... and it does kick down a gear to get up with the A/C on... but to say it was struggling isnt right. It still accellerates if you want it to.

How's that BKS? Sorry I wouldn't know first hand as mine is a 1.5 - just same hear-say when I was buying my Yaris. :P

Thank you very much for that info and the video--

I have looked at the prices of the YRS and the YRX and the YRX is a little more than I can afford--so will try the test drive on the YRS--I tested the "Edge" but that doesn't come in a 1.5
