Hi all,

This may sound like a very silly question, but the mp3/cd player in my 2008 corolla has decided to eat a cd and refuses to eject the item in question no matter how many times the eject button is pressed. Upon noticing this, it seems that the player does not want to play the cd as well.

Now Ive looked through the manual and havnt found anything about an emergency eject "paperclip" hole as is usually the case with cd players, so I guess Im asking, is there anyway of getting it out, or will this end up being a Toyota Warranty job.

Thanks in Advance!

Hey, this happened to me quite a few times, back with the old headunit. I usually just leave my car off for like a minute or two, then it will eject when I press eject. I never got around to asking forum's about this, because I usually just waited for the car to be nice to me.

If the above doesn't work, I hope you are handy with a screwdriver. That's how I'd be doing it.

a hammer :P

jks man, go with the screwdriver... if its not a very important CD, get an aftermarket head unit that won't stuff up :D and just get another copy of your music LOL
