thinking of going up a size with my rims

Hi guys..

Just curious on something..

My aurion is currently lowered on 18"x8 rims, tyre profile of 235/40.

The measurement from tyre to guard would be roughly 2-3cm at the front & 3-4 at the rear.

If i wanted to go up a size to 19"x8, tyre profile 245/35 & stay with the height i have for my 18s.

Do you reckon it'll hit the guard & scrub?

19X8 245/35 lowered on Kings or Pedders should be no probs,i run 20x8.5 245/35 and it only scrubs on big dips in the road and only on the front,95% of driving no dramas (includes most pot holes...Grrrr),i think maybe some KYB's or coilovers would eliminate this problem for me or maybe go to 19"wheels like your thinking of doing.Anyway 19x8 245/35 will also fill those gaps in a bit more, but nothing fills the gaps like 20" ;)

P.S Have you picked out the new wheels yet???

Thanks guys..

thats the only thing im worried about.. that the 19" on 245/35 would stick out too much & hit the guard & cause scrubbing from the height i lowered it on my 18"..

so hopefully 245/35 would be fine for my car with its current lowered height..

The only thing im eyeing are these SSW Black Mesh.. on special for $1400 wheel & tyre package & im not really too sure about the other one.. Just thought it looked alright..

Also like secaboy rims on his trd..
